Wow Tree that place is awesome. I just love to see things that have stood the test of time. So neat that they still use the old equipment and building. They certainly focus on the products and serving their customers and keeping the cost down. I'm glad you got to experience it-- and thanks for taking us along. Cheers!
+vvlamb That's ok.....it's great isn't it that I can take you all along with me to these places!! I have alot more fun places to go to in the new year. Thanks alot, Tree X
+BratBusters Parenting (Lisa Bunnage) Ah....that's ok Lisa, I especially wanted to make it now cos they said that they're doing some renovations soon, so thought it would be special to capture it as it is now. Although, some very exciting things are about to start happening at that place. Tree X
+fashiontoppings I know......fortunately he gave me some goodies but I still ended up buying loads of stuff, especially the fantastic glitter fabric! Tree X
+DeeLightful Co Hello Dee, sounds like somewhere I should go. Please excuse my ignorance but which part of America do the Amish community live? Thankyou for watching and commenting. Tree X

That's a sweetie shop if I ever saw one. Your little face :D How long were you there for Tree? What an honour! Go girl go. :) Thanks for doing that for us all. I love your delivery, you are so natural.
+Elizabeth Crangle Aw.....glad you liked it. The public don't usually get to go behind tbe seams and actually they have been renovating it all so it won't be like that anymore. But the owners are lovely and have BIG plans for the place. Tree x
I worked for David Graham at 77 Commercial Street Spitalfields. In the mid sixties David Graham became a director of William Gee . Directors ALF and Syd Gee were extremely competent businessmen , though when David got involved. The business flourished big time. The swinging sixties London lead world in fashion . Mini skirts, men’s shirts in fact all fashion.
@@StitchlessTV No I do not know Adam. Jeffrey was at university, when I was around. I will go to the shop, as I am in the market for buying some needles and thread for leather work.
+FlawlessAndFancy I know......The dad had so much interesting stuff to say about the area and the change to the fashion industry in London over the years. Hope you are well, thanks alot, Tree. X

Young Lady you make me laugh. You can tell when you where in William Gee Haberdashery you light up. It's like there is so much to see and not enough time to see it all. When I was younger I almost got locked in fabric shop. If it wasn't for one of the staff checking in the basement. It would have been fabric haven.
