- PHUKET THAILAND - This is Must Eat Thai Food In Phuket. If you love Thailand's famous noodle soup, khao soi, you are going to love this version in Phuket. It is one of the best khao soi I have eaten in Thailand and it is unique because it comes with stewed pork leg instead of chicken or beef. I haven't seen khao soi served like this anywhere else on my travels in Thailand. The restaurant is located in between Phuket Old Town and Patong beach, you will need a car or a taxi to get there, but the journey and effort is worth it. Thai food doesn't get better than this.

After recently visiting Thailand, my wife's new favourite dish is Khao Soi. Now that we are home we are trying to find some local versions.
ooo I end up cooking it myself outside of Thailand otherwise it never really quit lives up.
@@hungrytoexplore I think that that will be her next step. Finding a local version is proving to be very difficult.
there are some decent recipes online, you just need to make sure it is more authentic. there are many Westernised ones which aren't worth your time @@shaunashton9744

I ate there in Nov 2023. It was so amazing, I had to go back to eat it a 2nd time the next day!! 😅 The other MUST eat food is Go Benz Rice Porridge Phuket. It's at Phuket old Town area. I had 2 additional servings, after trying the 1st bowl 😂😋

Wow, that khao soi looks amazing. Will definitely need to stop by here on our trip to Phuket. Pig trotters are so good. We have that here in Korea, called jokbal.
You should, it is fantastic and really special. Pig trotters are also great. I ate that dish when I was in S. Korea. So good.
That looks great. Did not expect it on the touristy Island of Phuket. Will you go to Lanta again during your journey? If you like to try Texas-Thai Fusion BBQ you should try Joe's Texas BBQ there.
