(Update: The laptop issue isn't the reason anymore why I can't continue my channel, I have had a new laptop now for a while. I can't continue because I'm finishing college, and I have a three year old son and family to take care of, there's no time to keep this channel going... I'll still keep the following message, because when I uploaded this video, I wasn't in college and my laptop breaking down really was the reason why I stopped uploading)... I'm sorry to say, Best Buy called today to tell me that the manufacturer said that my laptop has water damage [which I think is bullshit, because I've never spilled anything on it] which is not covered under the guarantee, so it will cost more than the laptop itself to fix it, I was still paying it off, so I definitely don't have the means to fix it, so this is most likely the last video on my channel... The laptop I rented to continue uploading while my laptop was being repaired, is so slow, that making these videos has become an all day project, which has made this unbearable, I'm returning it today... So, barring any miracles, lol, this is my final video, I wanted to say that I've appreciated all the views, all the comments, all the compliments, everything. It's a huge compliment to be called the best SSF4 channel on youtube, while I don't really agree with that compliment, but it's awesome that so many people think that. So, once again, thanks for everything, and make sure to check out all the player playlists for a ridiculous amount of past matches. [The Archives!!]

Naoya0807, my Japanese Info Source, he gave me all the inside info on what the gamertags were of the pros when I was just starting out, he still does that, he literally has translated paragraphs and paragraphs for me, from english to Japanese, when I had to message Japanese players who didn't know english, then he translated the messages they sent back to me, to english. When I interviewed Tokido, he translated all the questions I had prepared, to Japanese, in case Tokido had any problems understanding, so a HUGE thanks to Naoya0807!

you've been my primary source of high level play vids since I've gotten heavily into street fighter and into upping my game...just having the will to upload matches, I feel like you've played a direct role in me getting better at the game....I found so many players on your channel and learned so many things by watching the matches you upload....you will truly be missed Shin. Not all of us have access to our Xbox/PS3s like whilst at work or at uni etc, so using this channel as a resource and entertainment is amazing! I understand if it's taking up alot of your time though, and you have bigger things to do, as it was aways your decision to make this channel in the first place. No, Shin, NO!! You have to be here. I understand what you mean about how easy it is to view replays but I don't have a PS3 or Xbox anymore and I live vicariously from what you upload. The rare times I still get to play I give thanks to all your videos which let me practice mentally and still maintain a semblance of decency. xD I am totally in for donating as well. Just count it as a huge thanks from all of us who love what you do.

I remember when I was first starting to go from Sakura to Juri in Super I didnt know wtf I was doing. I looked up videos and then one you recorded of a Juri player popped up. I searched all your vids to find them and found a few but I also found all these videos and montages of good players. Like everyone else here, these videos are a great part of my daily internet round, and you've made me late for many an appointment when you upload especially long ones!
Obviously I respect your desire to focus on your job, but I will still hold out hope that you'll come back to uploading some vids, even if at a slower rate than before. Even a couple a week would brighten my day!
In the meanwhile, though, do you have any recommendations for other SSF4 channels that have pretty good coverage?

hey shin u spent sooo much time for your channel that for most of us its the highest-quality sf channel out there. it would be something else if you really want to quit it but to me it always seemed like youre passionate in what youre doing here. we dont offer to donate we really want it! its like keeping our hobby alive, dont take it as a personal donation, its for the channel..we spend all this amounts of $ in arcadesticks and stuff for our hobby, so we would also keep this channel alive!

Thanks for the uploads Shin, ur channel has most def propelled my game to new levels on several occasions whether it be studying pro players that use my mains, or watching pro players use characters i have troubles wit to learn matchups. hopefully u can get a new comp or laptop to get ur channel running again. a donate button seems like a good idea, try it out! im sure many of us wouldnt mind donating a small amount that will grow into a big one as more subscribers participate

@0ShinAkuma0 You should take the donation money since you provided so many quality videos even at the time where it was a hassle to watch replays. Also, not everyone owns a ps3/360 let alone own SSF4 AE. This will allow new players to learn and view what's going on on the online aspect of SSF4. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who watches SSF4 videos but doesn't have access to the game at the moment.

Offering donations really resonates with me in that I feel like we as a community could offer you some support in helping you get a new laptop and return to school as a way of showing our thanks. $10 a person is an amount I would glad give, even if this was your last replay. You've provided more than enough entertainment that I've benefitted from that I'd still consider it a bargain for the content that's been provided up until now. But I didn't because I love how hard you work to please all these people. So please, man. Let us help you.
There's no reason that he should feel 'bad.' Basically, he is providing us gamers a service. Most of us are lazy to go on our consoles and watch the replays that way. With a dedicated youtube channel, gamers can simply watch the videos on the comfort of their PC (rewinding, rewatches parts, etc; things that cannot be done on the consoles with such ease).
If people are willing to help you out so that you can continue this 'service' you really shouldn't feel bad...

No, it's an armor cancel. I don't know what other characters have it, but it's not FADC, it's the first couple frames of an EX CoD cancelling into a different move. It uses 1 bar, and that bar came from the EX Tornado Throw. If cancelled into another move, it actually costs 0 bars. And of course you know that FADC uses 2 bars.
Shin, if you won't be posting anymore vids, then at least let someone else who can post these epic fights lead this channel in your stead. You've made this channel into a place where people can come and see many strategies being used that can make themselves into good players. But all in all, it sucks that you personally won't be posting videos, but you do have a life to live. I wish you well with your schooling, man.

But thanks to your uploads of PJS Latif and various Japanese players' matches, I've found a lot of motivation! It's been so awesome. I miss your replays man :( it has been days since anyone I've subscribed to has uploaded any SSF4 AE videos.. Really hope by the time "Street fighter 5" or whatever they call it, comes out you'll be back in the game.
Also Shin you maybe can partner with someone, I'm sure you track all these replays somehow and if you make a channel with the new AE feature and have someone record the matches and upload them to say your account or your partner's that'd work too. Or just do the donate thing, you'd be surprising how many people will be willing to donate.

@0ShinAkuma0 dude, first off i would like you to reconsider. you are apart of my daily routine, you help me so much with these vids. i don't own AE so being able to see vids of it are great, and even if i did i don't want to turn my console online so i can watch them id be in the mood to play instead, and then when im on my computer im in the mood to watch your uploads, also i have a ps3, so i could not watch your xbox uploads from my ps3, and my ps3 firmware is low so PSN is disabled for me.
Its really sad to hear youre done with your channel. I really enjoyed watching all the videos you posted up, but I respect that you have a life outside of SF4 videos. While some people obviously wont be able to accept this, I understand. Maybe someday you'll come back (Or at least thats what i'll tell myself =) ) but for now, good luck with everything yo.

Also, I don't know what you mean by "replay channel" or "leaderboards". I'm not part of the gaming scene, don't own a console, and ain't particularly internet savvy.

It doesn't matter if there's redundancy with official outlets, I'm used to coming here and I'd rather get my videos from you than anywhere else. I'll bet there's lots of others like this too. Your rationale for closing shop and refusing donations just doesn't make sense to me. Please reconsider!
