I did the colosseum with the lynels just so I could kill them, and was not expecting the majoras mask but I was pleasantly surprised
Same, I wanted the silver horn
I knew about the mask and I was about to kill 20 lynels for it
I found the place in a blind playthrough. I screamed when i saw a Lynel.
when i went there i was like "oh its just a lynel" so when i killed them i got as surprise that there was more and i gave up until ny brother told me that the majoras mask was there, lol
Fr i just went in there to murder the lynels because i like to kill lynels for fun
The coolest part about the Lynels is that if you die to one, your checkpoint will start you in the Lynel you left off. So the challenge is incredibly fair. I died a lot because I recklessly went there with nothing but Knight weapons and abusing the one heart doubled damage while being rusty as hell.
Even better than that. They only respawn on a Red Moon like every other enemy. So if you're not prepared, you can just quick travel out and get what you need, head back, and start back on the lynel you left off on.

I did the lynel coliseum without knowing anything about it beforehand and when i realized there's another wave after the first silver lynel i remembered that in every other coliseum i did it's all the enemies you've already fought but all at once. for a second i was absolutely terrified thinking i'm gonna have to fight 4 lynels but then i cannot describe how i felt when i realized it's just another silver but with armor

The very first coliseum I encountered was the lynel one. Incredibly gruelling.
When I finally ran into another one, I was super nervous, and made sure to wait for my master sword to recover, fuse it with a top tier item, put my best armor on, ate a combat boost dish.
And then it turned out to just be some bokoblins that I rinsed within seconds.

My first one was the Moblin Coliseum and Zant Helmet is super useful for enemies like Frost Gleeok, Ice Chuchu and Ice Keese
Fun fact: if you’re trying to get majoras mask and your struggling with the lynels, you can actually teleport out of the coliseum and when you come back it’ll save your progress there

Just use a lot of puff shrooms and have a decently strong weapon. It’s pretty easy that way. Did it last night with no deaths and I’m not great on lynels

Beating the thunder gleeok gives you access to a spot on the same colosseum where you have to put a sword on a knight statue and it opens a hole on the floor that has the trousers of awakening

You don't have to fight the gleeok to open the secret door. If you have Stealth up, you can get to the secret cave without fighting him
or simply just say fuck it, and avoid it entirely. thats what i did, and it worked even tho i got hit once!
I set out to map depths as soon as I had access to explore. It was a blast literally walking around blind and stumbling upon POIs. Colosseums always elicited a wow factor.
Me: "Hey, I've seen that Coliseum on the map! I wonder what you fight in it."
Mexeli: (starts following a trail of bananas)
Me: ".... Oh. Fair enough."
There’s so much to do in this game it’s insane.

I love that he took out every sage in the scorching coliseum except for mineru
Try using gibdo bones to stun lynels instead and try using Fierce Deity or Barbarian or Phantom Armour. It makes a HUGE difference.
when using gibdo bones, use level 2 radiant armor or the evil spirit outfit (bone proficiency) + 3 stage attack up meal. does even more damage than those 3 armor sets

A little bit of a strategy after beating the floating Colosseum the first time…. If you have majora’s mask as well as the sages with you…..the Lynels will than not ignore you for the most part while focusing on your teammates, giving you all the time to shoot the Lynel in the head…. Granite it might be a little difficult because they will occasionally switch targets but better than having a raging bull horse lion charge at you…. Probably the best way to farm arrows

The thunder gleeok used to scare me, until I got the lightning helm which literally just prevents you from getting hurt at all in the second phase

I didn't know there were multiple coliseums. I did the lynel one with just five hearts due to gloom damage. The last one alone took me like 20 resets, but I finally got it. I feel like the other ones except for Gleeok will be a lot easier.

I actually found the Lynel one quite a bit harder than the Gleeok. Gleeoks aren't too bad if you bring multiple rocket shields, a multishot bow, and Keese eyeballs. A bunch of tough Lynels in a row? That's a whole other matter, and I'm someone who really enjoys battling Lynels (just usually one at a time, haha).
@@nicked_fenyx Once you get Majora's Mask, any subsequent run against lynels should be a lot easier because they'll frequently ignore you (and attack any avatars assisting you). I wear the mask and I have a lot more time to land headshots.

@@nicked_fenyx It works on seemingly every enemy, including some bosses (like Hinox). What basically happens is lesser enemies (bokoblins, moblins, etc.) completely ignore you. Stronger ones like lynels will attack you, but then either lose sight of you, or get interested in attacking your avatar helpers instead. It makes lynels a lot easier because what usually happens is they'll only attack you if they happen to run into you going after your partners. It makes singular lynel fights way easier. A very good reward for having to clear the lynel coliseum.

I killed the Frost Gleeok today. It died of fall damage, which was hilarious.

They should have made it so that Silver Lizal horns get added to the tip of a weapon like Blue Moblin horns
I went to colluseum as a newbi and somehow SOMEHOW i maneged to beat all the lynels with the fierce diety armor and riding on his back but i didnt expect majoras mask tho :/
How do you access some areas that are surrounded by water/walls in the depths? Specifically the area where you fight Koga for the last time?
There’s a hole in rito village. I can’t remember where specifically but you can probably find a video or guide on it
its in a cave on one of the edges of the island where the villages stands on
Fun Fact: If you quickly run through the space between the hinox's legs while it does the body slam, you'll dodge the attack completely.

once you find all 7 bargainer statues and complete the quest “a call from the depths” you can buy the champions tunic for 400 poes.

Once you know what you're doing, king Glock is surprisingly easy.

You can leave only by teleport though
@@jjonahgrant6146 That's what I did. I put down a travel medallion, so I could heal between fights. I didn't have to heal after the first one though, because I only got hit twice. I hated how the last one had rock armor, so I had to find some rocks to fuse with my weapons.

Heres a tip:
Lynel 1-4: dont parry unless its running toward doing a horizontal swing, that ones pretty hard to flurry rush, the rest, its easiest to beat them via flurry rushing when they swing their sword. When their about to use their horn, you should walk back a small amount before dodging and activating flurry rush to make it easier to not accidentally get hit.
As for the final armored lynel, to break his defense, i would suggest useing the shield-wing method of entering bullet time and using bomb flowers to just get rid of the armor fast, that way he can be treated like a normal lynel

I managed to make it to the armored Lynel but was down to only two weapons so I ended up not being able to defeat him. I will have to come back after getting some stronger weapons. Maybe look up the hero weapons to have them help me out
What I find funny about majora's mask is that people went through hoops to get it with ancient blades, and then never did that again due to their unreal drops!
For the first coleseum in great hyrule forest depths, don’t worry! There’s only ONE gloom spawn at the enterance to korok grove, so gloom spawn is just a small threat for when your EARLY EARLY game

Idk how I can dodge perfectly all the attacks of the Lynels (I'm a Guy with a lot of fear of those dudes) and I parry them without any problem)

no, just use the bone proficiency royal guard thingie. it was super easy. one shot every single mount.

No use beam emitters on a hover-stone w/ a rocket to get you into the air, recall for perfect height, and construct heads for the aiming it easy lol get good
The hardest and the most rewarding because Majora’s mask makes the game considerably easier compared to the other ones
I had to use ancient arrows to defeat them
@@Robobrine8358 or use bone prof and damage + 3 and pristine Royale guards claymore and molduga jaw then make it one shot till it breaks it will be doing 320 damage raw with +3 damage and bone prof one mount kills any lynel in the game
Edit: use level 4 radiant armour so you get 60 defence

Somehow I beat floating Colosseum like even when I was not even powerful edit: I could barely even be a white maned lynel at the time and I only did the folding Colosseum in about three attempts
How much better would Majora's Mask be if it were attached to Link's head with its tentacles instead of magically remaining on his face without even an elastic band?

I found the lynel coliseum by accident and after i beat the first silver lynel I thought i was finished then saw another armored silver lynel show up and i had no sundelion dishes left and only had 4 hearts left which is pretty much a one hit kill, thankfully I had the full barbarian set so I could drain their health quicker lol. But if anybody is stuck in that coliseum by chance what I would do for the silver lynel since they’re a bit more tougher than a regular or blue lynel is use their bow with puffshrooms and bomb flowers with some lizalfo or blue bokoblin horns to stun them, but also distract and break their armor way quicker since it shoots about 3 to 5 arrows but uses only one of those items its pretty OP

Ancient blades become worth less and less the better you get at this game… at some point you only use them for bosses that you don’t want to deal with, and then realize that you would rather fight anyways

Did you know you could fuse a rocket to your shield and blocking with the fused shield will lift you in the air and this very useful while defeating gleocks and for the ice gleock you can jump on the icicles he spawns on you in his final attack and then use recal on it sending you up for an easy kill
