If you didn't catch our first video on the difficult, narrow 'coffin borders' it is here: czcams.com/video/GxNqm3wscn0/video.html
We have seen the requests for a full sunny position coffin border too and that will likely be out later this month
Happy gardening :)
It is very interesting to go from the horticultural site talk to a real garden with its challenges and see what brilliant ideas people have. Thank you Rosie.
I like your take on this very difficult area - the use of alpine plants is brilliant. Thank you for your insights on how to analyze an area.
What an interesting,natural,easy-care grouping.Thks.again,Rosie,for more practical & sensible ideas for a challenging space ! 🌈
Thank you! I reallly appreciate suggestions for difficult parts of the garden. I moved into a brick home with a “coffin strip” along the front of the house. During summer months, temperatures are regularly over 35° C, so it is a particularly tricky spot.
Love these ideas! I've a coffin bed but in dark shade Northside of the house under large burr oaks in zone 4a 😕. Yes, dry dark shade. I have it on a drip irrigation system. Even hostas & pachysandra are struggling with the lack of light.
I sure hope you can do another video with deep shade plants.
Love your video you explain all the different from one plant and how to grow them I live in Coventry Rhode Island USA and most of the plants I have grown in my zone 6 gardens. Been Cotswold and loved this part of the uk Beryl
Very good video - thanks
Excellent thanks rosy
Thank you 😊
What is this Oxalis? It looks really nice!
Oxalis adenophylla
@@rosyhardy18 Thank you! 🌸
I have a Pachysandra but it is just sitting and sulking? It’s in a dry, partially shaded spot for the last few years. Any ideas?
