Hi Fred, why do you back £500 on Hurkacz at 8.0 instead of laying Paul at 1.15 with £500 liability. Would it not make more sense to lay Paul given there is far more liquidity on such a short-priced player. I'm sure there is some reason for this but I'm not sure what it is. Thanks.
Hi, it is to do with my staking strategy, by backing and laying simultaneously, I can methodically enter and re-enter without having to calculate complicated stakes when getting in and out of the market at speed. I see where you are coming from with the liquidity, however, I tend to stick to high-liquidity matches which are the top players.
Why did your software hedge for loss using the back price of the other player rather than lay the player you are trading? Is there a setting to do this and do you get a better hedge out result, as in lose less by doing so?
