    Super helpful Ben. Just got delivery of my bike to Cayman. Getting it registered and licensed this week hopefully. But have tried it and wow. Insane torque.

    Great video. I rode a Del Mar for the first time a few days ago and had a blast. My previous bike got stolen a few years back and I’m debating on getting a new one, but the Del Mar is top of my list right now.

      @@AdventuresonZero BMW S1000rr. I was so upset that I couldn’t even look at a bike. Now I think I’m in a better position to get back into it. I will say I’ve always had sport bikes in the past so the livewire would be different for me but it felt more comfortable. I don’t really like the leaning forward as much anymore. I also have a Tesla so figured if I got one it would be electric just because I don’t really want a gas vehicle anymore.

      @@Gary_Walker90 oh wow, I would feel the same way. LiveWire def feels like a cross between a sports bike and a something else. Good that you’re already accustomed to the charging lifestyle. Have you tried the LW1 as well as the S2?

      @@AdventuresonZero I rode the L1 when it first came out and liked it. I really just find the L2 a bit more attractive and I figured that they would learn from 1 and improve upon their battery components etc. in the 2.

    Great video as always Ben. Have you ever done a video talking about theft prevention on the LiveWire? I don’t see many people talking about it… I admit I’m a bike newbie and aiming to get a S2 Del Mar in early 2025. Even though I don’t live in a high crime area, I still get that fear of someone just walking up to my bike, kicking the kickstand and just walking away with it. What preventative things can be done? Or is it just the locking the handlebars thing you showed?
    Guess I’m just curious as to arming and disarming this and the odds of it being stolen, which I know no one can REALLY tell me, but was just asking.

    • @AdventuresonZero
      @AdventuresonZero  Před 24 dny +1

      Not sure if I'll ever make a video of it, but my approach to anti-theft is to make my bike a pain in the ass to steal, or as much as I can. If I'm riding and parking the bikes in a built up area or large city, I lock the forks, and use a rotor lock on the front which has an obnoxiously loud siren if the bike is moved even a little. Ultimately though, if someone REALLY wants your bike, they're gonna take it no matter what. I will say that on the S2 platform, LiveWire is working on some really interesting stuff for bike security and theft. I haven't heard much in months, so hoping it's something they're still crunching down on as it's not something anyone else in the industry is doing (that I know of).

    I dont have the star wrench that they use on the bar ends to test this out, but could we just swap the mirror arms to have them the way we want them, but without having the warnings on the mirror be upside down? I notice you spin yours out the way i did when i first got on the bike, lol.. Are they some how designed to be only a left or right?

    • @AdventuresonZero
      @AdventuresonZero  Před 8 měsíci

      No they’re pretty easy to flip over, just a small pinch bolt that holds it on. Just flip them and under mount them

      Camera mount is for DJI action 4, phone mount is the quad lock wireless charger

    Hey Ben, I was wondering if you have tried any of the Tesla to J1772 adapters for your LiveWire. I was thinking of taking some longer trips and if I run into a situation where there is only a Tesla destination charger available I would like an option to use it. I bought a cheap one last summer off amazon and it didn't work for me. I was hoping you know one that will for sure work that isn't overpriced. You could likely get some good speed out of a Tesla charger with your Del Mar.

    • @AdventuresonZero
      @AdventuresonZero  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I haven't. I had a Teslatap mini a few years ago when I had a Zero DSR, and have been waiting for one to come on FB marketplace for a decent price. As soon as I get one, I'll test it out and put it in a video. Great way to open up charging opportunity on longer trips. The TelsaTap minis are pricey, however the build quality is exceptional and the compact size makes it more desirable than others.

    Can the height of the rear brake lever be adjusted? I’d like mine to be lower so I don’t have to cock my ankle so much to get to it.
