this is the most excitement I've felt as a Celtics fan in a while. coming back and watching this after time has passed, this season truly was incredible. to make it from being in the play-in with a losing record to the 2 seed and winning the east?? I never thought I would've seen that happen
No matter the final outcome, this was an absolutely historic season. I immensely enjoyed the ride and I can't wait for next season to begin. Thank you for a great year of highlights Timi! ☘️
What was historical about it?
@@mjf2891 that we were under .500 halfway through the season, had an insane turnaround and eventually made the Finals, all of this led by a 1st year head coach. It's not something you see everyday. Don't need the season to end with a ring for it to be considered historic
@@mjf2891 they were under 500 for a good 55% of the season and then got the second best record in the East while also making the finals, won’t be remembered cause they didn’t win though

This makes me emotional wow man what an amazing run but we came up short. It looked liked we were gassed… I wish we were as fresh as we were in the bucks series. We could’ve won the finals. Easily. Great basketball man

It is a pity that Boston could not become a champion, they went through such a difficult path to the final in which there was not enough experience, I hope that they will become stronger next season

@7:51 gotta be one of the best playoff moments just from the fact that it looked like he was gonna be out and he came back scored and was hype. If don't think so, imagine a player on your team doing that. You would go crazy.

We had a good year we really did,proud of the guys and I hope we make it to the finals again next year. Tatum was a little disappointing in the finals but he still did good

even though grant played not good in the finals, he was THE hero of that game 7 vs milwaukee. we wouldn't have been there without that heroic performance

Being a Celtics fan for 16 years I've enjoyed many seasons, but man, this one was special, all the feelings the team and the fans went through to get to the Finals, I was able to go to Boston for the very 1st time and watch them play in the ECFs against MIA, I cry every time I watch this video! Great run, a lot of fun to watch and definitely left us with great memories
Just watching the highlights you can see the difference from series to series in Tatum's demeanor. During the Nets series he was getting excited, clapping his hands on defense, and blowing all kinds of kisses. Fast forward to the Warriors series and you see not one of those things. This needs to change by next season or we're going nowhere for the next five years.

What a roller coaster season and a wild playoff run. This video makes me both happy and sad on how our finals fell short, specially with those atrocious TOs. Dismayed and angry but it is what it is, the better team won. Excited for the next season on whats PBO BS moves.

I feel Aaron Nesmith’s blocks in Game 1 of the Heat series should have been in this video. At least his chase down block on Victor Oladipo. But still a good video non the less.
It’s just really sad seeing how this team responded all postseason and knowing that they couldn’t respond in game 4, 5, or 6 on the biggest stage after they took a 2-1 lead.
