- Just a quick guide on a different/potentially better way to cheese this fight (at least timing wise). You can swap my baron and olague placement and it will probably easier fyi.

Thanks a lot I used your strategy for the Elite void rift and it worked, I had to place multiple fighters and exchange them in the last part but your concept worked.
Got it after a few tries! I must have done something wrong, cause I ended up with only one spot to put my defender after he did his mighty smash, but that was enough to slowly take his health down. Slow and steady wins the race, i guess! Thanks a lot for the guide

You are still doing it wrong... If your Olague survived there Torodor would scorch all 3 tiles, you have to let him move up so put your Olague on the last tile next time and when he is more than half way into the second tile you put your other tank on the first tile. You have a video on my channel how I did it long time ago, I have it more optimized now but too lazy to make another video it was made just for couple of my friends and they can already all do Torodor pretty easy so yea
There’s like 8 ways to cheese this boss I already did a guide on that way a month ago, but some people I know had timing issues so I made an alternate version

You can also place arrogance (as first unit placed) in the square behind olague facing down. Then after he kills the two sets of ads, you pull him and place him (facing up) next to the bottom blue thing, so he does some dmg to torodor, and makes the nuke easier.
I had a slightly different way. My team was Nocturne, Olague, Abomination, Salazar, Torodor, Wrath, Hollow, and Brokkir. I set Salazar up in front of the bottom crystal, Abomination 2 tiles down and 1 tile over so his ultimate would reach the adds, Hollow to the left of them healing, Wrath up top to kill the adds moving left, and Nocturne facing down to kill the adds moving right. Once all the bottom adds are wiped out, I despawn all three. Once the top adds are wiped out I despawn Wrath. After killing the center adds and trapping the boss in the middle, I replace Nocturne with Hollow and just hot swap heroes every time he attemps Mighty smash and he keeps turning around, never spawning the second group.
The other thing that happens is if I do it exactly like the vid, the first mighty smash destroys all three tiles and it's over. I'm literally playing with different mechanics, or?
I followed it through exactly as you did, but unlike your game in which Mighty Smash only takes the last slot, my Torodor destroys the entire line, so I can't place more ground units. What am I doing wrong?
After 6 or so tries I managed to get at least 1 slot free to deploy a tank and after an infinite 1x1 I got to finish it. Still don't know what makes it to bug the Mighty Smash to only land on a single slot as shown in the video, but at least I got it done. Thanks!

This still doesn't work for me. What I don't understand is how you can get him to not just do mighty smash again as soon as you place behind him. Mighty smash is the one that instakills and destroys the tiles. I've had him do mighty smash 5, 6 times in a row until my whole squad is dead
7:50 does he not use mighty smash when he's in that state?
And also, does the bottom wave not come second round when he's stuck there?
Bottom wave ONLY comes when he’s at the orb so if you stop him he won’t spawn the rest, and once his mighty smash activates for the first time it won’t again until he reaches the orb

I played it a few more times, and the last one he did mighty smash and destroyed 0 tiles, then never did it again. This battle makes no sense LOL
Thanks for the video, but even though i followed your steps and placed my champions exactly at the same spots he would always burn the entire line. When i finally did manage to make it so that i at least had 1 tile behind him free to put down fighters, he kept doing the mighty smash? How did you manage to get several tiles free?

It is doing the same to me. on 4th try. Using all the same champs except Arrogance which i dont have. Same spots and all
ah yes this is more like it.. I was sure that I managed to cheese it that way the first time I fought him..
the way you did it in that other vid made me doubt myself cuz I couldn't have possibly did all that by accident and I hadn't managed to get the cheese again after the first time..

@@Destined_WoR my way is more fun cuz I have TF and zilitu and if you are quick enough even after revival, Torodor will still be in range of Zilitu (top squares facing down)
THat makes it incredibly quick, like he just appears get nuked and then get locked into Zilitu's range and finished off
TF Zilitu is so broken, I pulled my second TF today im just missing zilitu @@renarddubois940

Yeah tried this several times. On his rebirth i place a defender behind him and he just one shots them and continues on
Weird. Not sure why that happens, I have an older guide if that works better
i've been doing this boss like you have showed us last time with a little bit of exception.... after i finished with bottom lane i just get rid of all of those units and when the boss part comes i don't use the healer, i use for the first half Nocturne and when the boss gets his second life i take him out and put Silas in there turned to the right and keep rotating ground units, my units take no hits and the boss just die
Nice! Whatever works for you, the thing I like about this game is there’s never one way to do something.
Have they fixed this? Try as I might I cannot get him to react to anyone after he goes down in the middle tile. Sometimes he destroys all fields, sometime just two. What am I missing?
Still works, you have to place things in a specific order, if this way doesn’t work you can watch my other version
@@Destined_WoR I have copied your lineup exactly and not only does he ignore the attacker, he does 2 mighty smashes in a row?!? (btw I am running this in Elite) - edit I just managed to beat him because my defender died so Todor turned around to deal with the attacker before dying. This meant his Mighty Smash "glitched" and only eliminated the middle tile so I could drop Olague in the Third spot and Wrath in the first spot and they killed him.
It seems substantially less complicated than your previous one, I'll try it now. But I still struggle with enough DPS to kill him at the first phase. When all I see is "cheese" strategies for this boss, I wonder if the devs cranked this fight too much, because I can't see to find a "legit" strat anywhere.
Legit strat is only a dps check, its just can you kill the boss fast enough. I find the cheese more interesting.

If you have zilitu or aracha you can put her in the front facing down and she can hit the boss without getting hit
