I didn’t notice & ofc lots of reasons are possible… but seems like maybe you’re just picking up on the differences in their natural spoken cadence? If you listen to individual interviews where they aren’t together, will see that Alison tends towards emphasis or pauses within phrases for effect, more variation in speaking rhythm. Dave talks at a pace that’s quicker than average, across the board - beats of his speech stay relatively consistent.
She talks too much and it’s kind of annoying tbh. It could be they have a time limit for the segment.
at the end of the video Dave said they have a dinner after, maybe he was more cogent of time and was rushing so they can make the reservation time
