Start building a law enforcement resume: Ride alongs with the agency(ies) you are applying for. If possible, multiple ride alongs during different shifts, different divisions (for larger departments). Check the local junior colleges and with the agency(ies) about a physical conditioning for academies or a pre-academy class. Start RUNNING at least three times a week. Aim for a 9 minute mile average pace for 3 miles. Multiple rounds of 20 push ups (do these during the commercial breaks when watching TV). Same with situps and mountain climbers. Log and track you exercise progress. Present this log with your application or to your background investigator. Stay out of trouble.
I'm sure some candidates don't just know how to jump fencing like that already? Where can we practice jumping a solid wall like this? How can we practice lifting a 165 dummy if we don't know anyone who weighs that much?
Jump a fence in your yard. The main thing you need to be careful of is rubbing on the top of the fence when your weight is resting on your palms or forearms, because that's when you at most likely to scratch yourself up.
the police in different countries are different in Bulgaria I had no problems with the police my English is bad but I understand almost everything I have no problems with people only in russia
Some agencies do have you to the test with a vest. I haven't seen one yet require you to do it with a duty belt. But remember this is just to get into the academy. Most will have you do the wall, etc with a belt and vest on in the academy.
The face on the dummy looks like he's absolutely over it.
Great video wc thanks for posting !
How are you suppose to practice these if you never done them and want to go into the academt
Hell, just go around it. Jeeez.
Physical isvery good . Like your video
After completing the physical agility test what can candidates do to further themselves for the next step in their candidacy.

@@adamjhuber Adam, thanks for this comment. It’s well stated for pin pointing accuracy!
can you demontrate on the other fence (not the wood) thanks
The chain link one is easier as you can fit your foot through the hole.

@@jrtien Find a brick wall, throw a moving blanket or several beach towels over the top. Don't try it on a wood fence.
So nervous I have my test in September
Well did you pass?

Now do that with fully loaded duty belt and vest on to be realistic.

Retest annually. I don’t understand how 300 pound hideously fat deputies are on active duty.
It is given as an incentive for some departments as overtime which equals big bucks. But honestly the 300 pounders don't want to be embarrassed. Lol.
I'll never have respect for these cops someday the people will be tired of being oppressed.
