- Welcome back. In Bloomington Indiana, is Clear Creek homes. They have the modular version of this 1493 sq ft Clayton Tempo series home called Let It Be. This home is full tape and texture and comes in designed for those that don't want to spend a lot. They save you money by not having a lot options so they can mass produce them.

Well Nate, you did it again, I backed the video up to make sure and did verify. YOU DID NOT OPEN THE VERY CONSPICUOUS DOOR ON OTHER SIDE OF THE LIVING ROOM WALL ABOUT AT AREA WHERE THE KITCHEN FLOOR STARTS. NEED TO STAY ON TRACK.

Come on Clayton Homes, PLEASE, y'all need to put drawers over cabinets doors in the kitchen also put a stack of them in master bathroom if you're not going to put any in guest bathroom. More shelves in closet areas and one side of that empty areas between kitchen and utility room. If y'all want more customers y'all got to give to get them coming in to buy your products!!! Otherwise, the layout design and decor is great for the size of the home. Would be great for a small family starting out, but put in the effort Clayton Homes!!! Thanks Nate for sharing this place with us. I personally rate this home a 6. Don't take it personal Clayton Homes; just trying to help y'all out.

I like the 2 colors in the kitchen. And the place to put the dining room.
It is a decent floor plan. Of course, the closets need more hanging rods. I have cats. I would definitely need a door to the primary closet. My cats would be constantly climbing to the top shelves. And I could not just add shelves in various areas, due to the cats. But cabinets, with doors, could be bought and placed in those spaces.
Yes I agree with you. I have four cats and they would think it's a playground with umpteen shelves 😹
Even with the need to add in cabinets for linen in both bathrooms and put in Pantry space and door and have drawers over doors style cabinets in the kitchen the one thing keeping me from even considering buying this home is the open clothes closet in the master ensuite and don't care for the door you mentioned.

Ya know Nate the door in the kitchen needs to be moved to the utility room. The 2nd bathroom vanity needs 2 sinks. Definitely needs a closet door for the primary closet and I would want the knee wall and tile in the primary shower. Did you say this was in Indiana? Do they ship to Michigan??

This house does not seem bigger than it actually is. My house is about 100 sq. ft. smaller yet all the rooms are larger than the rooms in this model. One plus for this house is the interior w/d area, mine is in the garage. There were only 3 drawers in the kitchen! Oh, the bathrooms are bigger than mine. Needless to say this model is a big disappointment. Thanks for the tour. 😊😊😊

Very nice layout! I'm curious since you were pointing out what is optional versus what comes standard. Have you encountered manufacturers who sell the basic shell of the home to customers who can finish it? As in basic framing subfloor and plumbing, but no flooring or paint? Thanks for your tours!
Not yet. I'm not sure they can. All the plumbing and electical has to be to code and is done based on where things will be in the home. They can't run the plumbing for the sinks if they don't where you are going to put them. Same for the shower and also outlets. They may put one in and then you might put a wall there.

Certain things are BASIC, LIKE LINEN CLOSETS OR CABINETS, they are NOT FRILLS.

Yes, in fact I know the Clayton dealer has one in stock on Raleigh. Or at least they did when I was there 2 years ago. They were the first to get one of the tempo series
What is the difference between the modular and manufactured? I'm from the UK
The code they are built to. Modular being a higher code and varies from state to state. Modular has to be built to the same state code as a site built home.
Clayton's Way to get more MONEY OUT OF THE CUSTOMER by providing the space for linen to closets, Pantry closet etc... but not actually giving you the linen closets or pantry, that's all a upcharge if you wanted to add it.
