I’m looking forward to Master Duel too, and of course playing my Buster Blader decks online! It’s been a long time coming that the TCG gets an official online simulator, especially with how well Duel Links has done in the past few years.

Interesting. I also play a BB-Rokket deck, but no Dragoon since it's banned in the format where I play. However, I have Borrelend Dragon which is still a good powerhouse and helps me get to my other level 8 synchros as well when it activates its negating effect. I also added some of the latest Rokket and Borreload (Riot) cards for more extender plays and to help me recycle cards

I wish I had access to the newer Rokket/ Borreload cards as the synergy they can offer BB (and even Red-Eyes) is incredible.. and of course they look phenomenal!
13:50 as long as the initial effect to equip to savage isnt negated, the link monster that is equipped can be destroyed and savage wont lose the borrel counters, not sure if thats what u were getting at or just assuming that it was being negated but yea, just leavin this comment for people who may not know :)
I may have explained it too poorly, but yes that is correct!
I was also just trying to say that “Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman” will protect all “Destruction Sword” cards from being destroyed by battle and card effects, until the end of that turn that you applied that GY effect. “Protector Whelp of the Destruction Sword” being an example as while it is equipped to “Borreload Savage Dragon” by Savage’s effect, it is still treated as a “Destruction Sword” and thus it just cannot be popped by card effects such as Twin Twister. You are correct though, Savage won’t lose his Borrel Counters from the equipped card being removed from the field unless his initial Synchro Summon effect is negated (meaning he won’t get to equip a Link to himself from grave at all).

You have to add three trap trick to get to prologue easier. I think having two red eyes and two dark magician is gonna cause too many dead cards on draw.
Yeah that’s all fine and good until you open up 3 trap trick with a copy of prologue. Trap Trick has a big cost of limiting you to 1 more trap for the rest of the turn, so when I tech it in from the side deck I only play 1-2 max and it heavily depends on if I also swapped in more traps such as “Destruction Sword Flash” or “Infinite Inperm” as additional targets for that 2nd trap trick.
The whole point of having 2 Red-Eyes and 2 DM is so that you can banish them off of an Allure of Darkness and not have to worry (as you will still have your materials for Dragoon). It also mind games your opponent into believing that you just banished a piece of the Dragoon package and no longer have access to Dragoon that game.. until you bring out Dragoon anyways and they start scrambling for an answer to him.
This deck looked like it would be really fun to play. Tried it out on ygopro and idk if it was just me or what, but it seems like it gets bricked quite often.
But it's also completely possible that I'm just overlooking songs plays I could've done. Wouldn't doubt it.
Have you thought about running neo Kaiser glider instead of mana dragon since with neo you don’t have to rely on your opponent to use its effect and it’ll drop all your opponents monsters by 500 atk when you send it with riser?
I’ve tested with Neo Kaiser in the past and it works fairly well. I personally just like the extra protection that Mana Dragon Zirnitron provides against back row removal, as his effect can go off from the GY after dumping him with Riser or from your hand incase you brick with it.

Yo I'm now making this my stable deck core layout I love rokkets with Buster blader just to make a proper synchro summon instead of relying on the trap. Have you tried Gaia Origins? Works good with sending Dark Magician/Buster Blader/Red-Eyes to grave to un brick them hands

I have indeed, I am working on a Gaia version too but it is still a work in progress and not really near completion. I have also enjoyed using Gaia Origins in that version for the Shooting Riser Synchro Summon effect, which also works well in my red-eyes deck utilizing retro.
If Dragoon/Verte were cheaper I'd definitely run them again but I must Say Dark Paladin can become a real monster with his second effect. Both grave yards with dragons in them would make him a beefy boy!

Just wondering, if you had to replace the x2 red eyes and x2 dark magician and not run Dragoon, what would you replace them with? Sorry for asking. At the moment, I do not want to pay for Dragoon and I am hoping to get as close of a deck profile. Thankks
I get asked this fairly often so no worries :)
The Dragoon package in this deck includes:
x2 Red-Eyes Fusions, x2 Red-Eyes Black Dragons, and x2 Dark Magicians, but it’s also connected to the Dark Paladin tech as well.
If you take out the Dragoon package then I’d recommend swapping out “Dark Paladin” along with the x1 Magicalized Fusion and maybe even the x1 Destruction Swordsman Fusion too. This will free up 7-8 Main Deck cards and 3 Extra Deck monsters, giving you lots of space to splash in different card choices such as playing Infinite Impermanence, Nibiru, Ash Blossom, or even something like Shared Ride. I think you could also play cards like Jester Confit that also have good synergy with the Where arf Thou combos or even add more Rokkets like Recharger and Tracer.
*As for the extra deck I’ve been messing around with different cards like: Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres, Chaos Ruler, Saryuja, Crimson Blader, or even Beelze of the Diabolical Dragons. So depending on what your “deck needs” are, what decks you tend to match up against in locals, or what cards you actually own, you have lots of options.
