Probably a less visited Island in Thailand we had a great time. Backpackers and seasoned travellers will find things to do on this beautiful island.
Are you wondering what to do in Koh Lanta? Most people do Koh Lanta Diving into the crystal-clear waters and explore the mesmerizing underwater world teeming with vibrant marine life. We wanted a more relaxed day so we hitchhiked to visit the Koh Lanta market in the old town (the Koh Lanta night market is supposed to be great although we didn't make it).
While the island feels abandoned there is life to be found and the people are full of smiles and welcoming to tourists. If you want to escape the chaos of Koh Phi Phi then Koh Lanta is a real option for you.

Seriously mate, scooters are really easy to ride. Basically a bicycle with an engine. All automatic, no gears, no clutch. So you came to Thailand and you didn't know that a scooter is THE way to travel around?

How come you couldn't rent motorcycle?.. I learnt riding in Phuket, didn't have experience before
Maybe we should have. Didn’t feel comfortable at that moment. Most people do rent a bike of some sort 👌👍
