Great video. I would have made the same mistake with reporting. Were the boxes the same the second time through?

Do you think the Penetration Tester Job path alone will help in being more confident in cracking easy/medium boxes on the normal HTB platform? I cancelled my normal HTB subscription and signed up for HTB Academy because I found the easy HTB boxes a little too difficult.
Also, for the exam, would you say that the course content alone is enough to pass the exam?
Also, also, do you think passing this exam will make the OSCP exam easier to pass?

So in my experience doing the job path helped a ton when I went and did the boxes on the HTB platform. Yeah dude as you go through the course content you will slowly become more comfortable with the thought process that is needed when it comes to hacking!
For the exam I do think the course content is all you need to pass. I would recommend going back and doing every skill assessment without looking at your notes to help you prepare and maybe do one or two boxes that are part of the htb academy x labs combo if you wanna test your metal!
So I have not taken the OSCP yet but I am planning to take it in the coming months. What I can say is that a lot of people that I have talked to say that the OSCP is a piece of cake compared to the OSCP. My review of the OSCP will be out when I complete it :)

The recommended boxes at the end of modules also includes insane machines........
If you can do those you will definitely pass the exam ;)

Appreciate your comment! I started studying for the certification in June of 2023 part-time and I finished the content in March of 2024 so it took quite a while. But if you really grind it I think you can finish the content in about two months

How long does it take you to complete CPTS + Any recommendation before the test like did you don any HTB pro labs etc...
It took me about 6 months to complete the course while I was at uni and working. Yeah once you finish the course I think you should go back and redo every skill assessment. If you still want some more practice take a look at the htb academy x htb page which lists all the boxes that should be done to practice for the exam. Thank you so much for the comment ! I totally understand where you coming from. If you can't afford the subscriptions try using the cube payment. That way you can do the course content at your own speed and budget 👍
@@_The_hackers Yes, I understand that, but you see, if in return for people who have not yet entered adulthood like me, having a large amount of money to study is really difficult. I did not apply to live in America, so the money I The amount of money spent to study is equal to the 1 month salary of an intern, and I am not yet an adult, so it is really difficult to fully study, I am really passionate about my profession. cybersecurity industry
