In the upcoming week of The Young and the Restless, viewers can expect emotional turmoil and power plays to take center stage. Sharon Newman, portrayed by Sharon Case, finds herself spiraling mentally, waking up in disarray, questioning her own reality. Kyle Abbott, played by Michael Mealor, faces accusations of ego-driven decisions and Summer Newman, played by Allison Lanier, struggles with feelings of professional insecurity and jealousy.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman, brought to life by Eric Braeden, continues his manipulative games, giving his son Adam Newman, portrayed by Mark Grossman, control of Newman media. But since they live their partners, it's hard to deal with because of guilt and adam and Chelsea just need to get together. But it happened and try to get past it. Summer announced to Chelsea and Sally before she left after their meeting, that she is going to buy a house for her and Harrison.... she's crazy, probably suffering ptsd from the kidnapping. But the ones that were actually kidnapped are fine... good grief.
Question...maybe some former or current cheaters can give me an answer to this. Do you really stare off into space ( ignoring whoever you're speaking to ) while you think about your sexual escapade with the person you cheated with? Like Adam and Chelsea are doing? Then the person who you are ignoring says " hey, where'd ya go? What happened? Are you even listening to me? " Is that a real thing that actually commonly happens? OR is it just a dumb soap opera thing? Cause you see it constantly on soaps and other tv shows too. So am I crazy? Cause I think it's exaggerated immensely or maybe completely made up...

But the last person that Sharon was married was Ray Rosales. Before she entered in this new adventure of running a corporation on her own, she always referred herself as Sharon Rosales! So what happened; did she divorced the late Ray Rosales? Why did she started using Sharon Newman again although she’s been divorced from Nick for a long time. Of course, the Newman name has a lot more clout than Rosales🤔. Shameful on the writers! Seems a bit racist to me? 🤔👎🏼
@@gloriabell9448 Be reasonable, not everything is racist. Lots of newer viewers don know the backstory of her marriage to Ray. Even a newbie can relate to the Newman name and her connection is clear.
I actually think it’s a good story line for Sharon. Getting meds switched needs to be given attention. I’ve had minor things occur when I got on a weight loss medication. Luckily I caught myself before it really got bad.
Apparently Billy is a 1500 SAT, Harvard graduate, incredible genius all of a sudden. He somehow figured out that Lily and Devon were playing him. Now he somehow seems to be on to Adam/Chelsea. Man I guess he is the smartest man in America.
Maybe Billy is aware of Adam and Chelsa's affair because he is a cheater himself.

What happened in that hotel room is Chelsea's fault. She leaned in and kissed him first. She is also very uncomfortable with Sally because she is jealous of her. Chelsea would dump Billy in a heartbeat for Adam.
Chelsea is very in control of what happens. She used Connor and put him that far from home. Everybody was oh they should be about their child. Chelsea is not the baby in the woods, so please, she is guilty no no no.She is mad that she had to work so hard to get Adam back in bed.She is going to start crying I'm pregnant next. Victor wanted Adam to be part of the family but how can he be part of the family when he’s getting along now kinda and then he wants him to take over Nikki’s job and go after Jack that will just upset everyone in the family and then all that hard work he did to get along is for nothing I hate that Victor uses Adam like that and wonders why he turns on him. He only wants to use them because he has that sneaky side of him, but he’s trying to be better person. Don’t like victor.
I predict that Adam will go dark again. This is because he will: lose Sally, get Nick mad at him for hurting Sally and lose Nick as an ally, do Victor''s dirty work and p-off Nikki who will hate on him even more, Jack will be mad at him for agreeing to do Victor's dirty work, and be stuck with anxiety-ridden pregnant Chelsea. Not fun so he'll turn resentful, angry, hurt and super-cynical.

I hate the writers of Young and the restless they’re making Sharon look weak and vulnerable. Why don’t they have her and Nick relationship blossom and there’s something good and positive they belong together just like Nikki and Victor that would be smart to do. Sharon needs a good storyline and not so sad. She already went through a kidnapping with that man that kidnapped her daughter too, and strapped her to a bomb why can’t Sharon get better roles? She’s a good actress.

I need to remember to not watch your Friday video until I’ve seen Friday’s episode….I was so confused when I watched it this morning….lol….was surprised how likable Summer was when meeting with Sally and Chelsea. I do wish Sharon would get a better story, there are so many mental health storylines at this point. I wonder if OCD really is like a monster under the bed like they are portraying it???? I had a general understanding of OCD, but, had no idea that it was like an outside entity that would drive someone to do things like it has Connor…freaking out about germs and hand washing I get (Howey Mandel shaved his head due to germs, he has OCD).

I read in one of the soup Magazines that Ratings are down for Y&R...what the Producers and writers are using sweeps to "experiment "with different senerios and situations....I think that is the reason fans are not happy with the different couple hookups....it makes me mad that Adam hit the sheets with Chelsea after working so hard to get back with Sally..he may end up getting caught .if they do it again (which is more likely)...and you are soo right about having another mental health storyline with Sharon...it's overwhelming to fans I think....it's hard to know where they are going and I am probably sure they don't know as well .
Victor is just a troublemaker and needs to mind his own business. Nikki should find this out and threaten to leave him if he doesn’t leave Jack alone.

Of course, the most untrustworthy of all is the Lizard King, Victor Newman, but almost all the characters
(think Audra, Billy, Lilly, Summer --- the list goes on) have trust issues....
The writer SHOULD care about the fans. I'm sorry but this guy is not doing a great job. I hope Adam goes to Nick and tells him what Victor is planning bc I don't see Adam telling Nikki. I don't mind a mental health storyline but three is too much. I want Sharon to be happy and healthy and find love again hopefully with Nick.

*Summer* is ridiculous; so out of line! I'm so glad Kyle reminded her, she's not Harrison's biological mother. She needs to retreat; she being guided by her jealousy and insecurities. That kid is the happiest child on the soap and Summer is still bitchin.'
*Kyle* is awesome, I like him. But his ambition driven by rage may be his downfall. Hopefully he's caught before he hit the ground hard; the mustache may do a number on him. Besides, Victor don't like people who are cruel to their mothers; it seems to be a sentimental spot for him regarding his own childhood trauma(s).

I don’t blame Summer for acting crazy she almost lost her mom to prison which ended her marriage by helping her mom .she almost had her AUNT,DAD, & Grandparents murdered .then her crazy cousin that almost killed her family started being her kids nanny and disappeared with her kid and now Kyle is making it clear that she is not her child’s bio mom ! Maybe they should of made Summer crazy instead of Ashley .

Writing is truly a mess on many levels.
I want to see more drama of Victoria's 3 children (my favorite character, Claire, and her half-siblings (Johnny and Katie)).
Hopefully, Reed (Victoria's other son by J.T.) returns to the show very soon.
I'll venture to say that most, if not all, of B & B fans, saw Nate's and Audra's boom boom coming a mile away. 😂😂 Read my lips; it's only a matter of time before Kyle will try to undermine Audra, despite her best effort to act as a team. 😎
While I'm glad they're giving Sharon a storyline, FFS, can she have an original one. Think about it. How many people in your life are having drastic mental health crises within a year.

First of all Victor didn't interrupt a close moment Chelsea was already at the front door to go find Billy when Victor knocked on the door and Adam ask Victor what he doing here Victor said hope I'm not interrupting Adam said they were on a video with Conner.and he said he needs a moment with Adam and Chelsea leaves? Belinda why do you say things like that...I know you want to pump up your podcast but come on that isn't exactly what happened! Chelsea was already at the door to leave to find Billy...so there was no Interrupting...guezzz!!

We fans know that the last time Sharon was happy was when she was married to Rey, and since that time you have kept Sharon , sick with cancer, stalked and tortured by a crazy madman, fearing for her family and herself, now her first storyline since all those terrible and awful storylines, you are once again doing something to keep her character down and sick once again??? Phyllis hasn’t gad a descent storyline since you brought back Diane , and just gave him back to Diane, and just completely sidelined and ruined Jack and Phyllis’s relationship, and since then you have let the actress down along with Michelle Stafford’s fans , as you writers continue to drop in ratings and put out these boring and ridiculous storylines that just drag out forever going nowhere??? We fans are already predicting the awful and horrible storylines that you are most likely heading in that direction with so many of the characters that you have kept sidelined?? Sorry but can any of us fans name even one storyline that makes us want to tune in each day to watch it, no because we are fast forwarding through more then we are watching , I can’t name any character or a storyline that I can’t wait to watch, absolutely none?? You writers have had all this time for those two great actresses, for you to write an epic storyline for Sharon and Michelle, to do them justice , yet here you go again failing them the show and the heck with us the fans too? We either watch the mess that is now Young and the Restless , knowing that with each new episode, it just continues to get worse, or just give up on it as I have done Bold and Beautiful, not missing that one at all?

I hate the writers of Young and the restless they’re making Sharon look weak and vulnerable. Why don’t they have her and Nick relationship blossom and there’s something good and positive they belong together just like Nikki and Victor that would be smart to do. Sharon needs a good storyline and not so sad. She already went through a kidnapping with that man that kidnapped her daughter too, and strapped her to a bomb why can’t Sharon get better roles? She’s a good actress.
