I had an idea for another Protoss challenge, proxy EVERYTHING. The only structures you're allowed to build in your base at home are pylons, cannons and batteries. All units allowed.

build every structure directly in your opponent's base. Proxy assimilators. Make units there. Dab on the corpses of your enemies.
I feel like the only way this works for a protos is two gate forge or 3 gate. Terran doesn’t need to be so extreme since they can fly and can be built anywhere

I found your channel about a month ago, and since then, I have binged every single challenge series. Today, I sadly am caught up and have no more challenge videos to watch, and I can't wait for you to release the next one.
I have, however, found the next best thing. Looking for CZcams videos of other streamers meeting you on their stream or someone casting your esl cup games and waiting for their reaction to whatever challenge you were doing and trying to see if I can remember the matches from your videos (it's hardest on the esl cups).
Your content is amazing, and while I was already impressed by your level of commentary while still playing at an extremely high level it has become even more impressive as I have now started watching videos from your opponents, who tend to be almost silent after first or second contact in-game to focus on their play.
I'd love to see the opponent videos you reference. Would you mind linking a few?
@SuicidalSammy I don't know which videos had uThermal as an opponent (they are much harder to find because they rarely, if ever have uThermal's name in the title) I know I saw a VOD from Harstems pov, but I watch too much of his stuff to know which video it was in.
As for casts, LowkoTV covers a few of the ESL cup runs and has uThermal in the title so it's pretty easy to find them.
The repeated slow warpins at the natural followed by only building gateways in the main, that was actual pain.
After years of struggle at the hands of Protoss, you know exactly what is torture to Terrans, and you show it well 😂

I would love to see some nexus cancel cheese strats. Maybe it’s own series or part of this one. It was a moderately common strategy in wings of Liberty to make 2 gates at home, then proxy 3 gates for 5 total. Then cancel the natural expansion nexus right before it finishes and warp in a lot of units to attack. Usually when this is done on one gas it looks like a very economic play to your opponent and the zealot army with a few stalkers that arrives at their base is a complete surprise.

For game 1 I would have been interested to see if he ended up scouting your Nexus without you realizing or if it really was just a blind counter.
I've often wondered why I can't really win any TvPs at my level (around 4k MMR). Now that I've watched this TvP from the Protoss perspective I can understand. Protoss has basically full vision, can pressure, can harass, can expand off of very little to no units, can do random stuff with basically no build order with no consequences. I'm not sure how Terran is supposed to ever win given equal skill level. At the pro level it's probably better because the game must follow a pretty rigid script, so all of the above give Protoss less of an advantage, but where I am it's completely brutal.

I used to be master level zerg in WoL and what that first did was something I'd do pretty often when you can't get good scouting on protoss and have a funny feeling about what they're doing.

So I actually really like the longer macro games. I haven't been playing much since wings of Liberty but I like seeing some of the late game units and they only get fielded maybe 10% of the time so it's interesting to me seeing them. There was a planetary rush that went super late against zerg a few weeks back that I really enjoyed for that as well
When they pull scv’s to attack nexus, you gotta try blocking off their mineral line with pylons and cancel the nexus.

Challenge: Pacifist - Can’t attack the opponent until attacked first. Then the war officially begins.
Better yet pacifist. You cannot make attacking units.
With maybe a few exceptions like tanks/window mine but only when sieged, Queens and infestor fungal ext

Id love for another widowmine strat, I love them to much, them libs and ravens are my fav (and seige tank, but thats a near requirement to enjoy terran)
Also all your strats are my teachers, saw one of your strats, and I decided to be a mech player.
As soon as protons sees lurkers.. 1 to 3 photon cannons or triple gate wall off. This gives you static defenceman for your workers and visions. Should have two Grey zone deployed observers.. and others deployed on map, then hot key and can f 2 without disrupting your deployed obs same as if your zero, u can deploy the overseer, so it doesn't f2. Also.. with speed over seers in froups of three can harass upgrade buildings... attempt a full lock out... which early over seer tech delay harass isnr done often, but it's better than the fake units.. since it stops production to zero, being a flying jnit you can go in and out to a Grey zone. First game you just looked like you were enjoying yourself and not in try hard mode.. the only thing is you didn't have to complain.. there is a lot of ways to cone back... on that map I might of expanded double left. Get to five bases asap. Bit funny you went adapts. Disruptions shield walls and buildings with range ca be effective... hydra ... hmm a couple carriers or tempest back line are like siege tanks that can be protected by Grey zones and static structures. Basically like ghosts auto sniping . 3 to 5 tempest with a front line ca help... oracle would of been nice. If you expect an attack or burrowed system Disruptions are better... psi storms good though.. great for Ling floods.. but it was a funny game to see. My rule of thumb is atleast one photon cannon per mineral line around 6 minutes. Just really helpful for banshee and dark Templar... your sentry control was a little bad. In the larger fights.. the shield deployed is better the range of roaches is 3. Stalkers is 6.. so stutter step slow backwards. Stops.. zeros from stuttering roach forward so its back line can attack.. utilizes stalk range better, since they will away be attacked by the stalker back lines bh two units since they have to walk forward. Gives you .. your stalkers extra attacks per unit line.

I think it's difficult to pull off a proxy nexus (or even proxy cc) against zerg mainly because they have creep, and very early scout such as overlords and cheap and fast lings. Otherwise another entertaining episode. Keep up the good work.
