Some of them are awesome like the Max levitating in the Cemetery and the first ever Murray Pop, but the new Scoops Ahoy "Sherbet Surprise" paint job on Steve, Robin and Demogorgon make no sense?!? Baskin Robbins has a flavor called "Cotton Candy Wonderland" that's the EXACT same colors as the new POPs. I like them quite a lot. The colors are nice, and it's not just a blank color or random pattern like the Art Series and countless single-color POPs in the past... this is actual paint in the right spots with all the detailing of the normal figures, actually even more detail because of the blush and the multiple tones in the hair and clothing. I'm not paying full MSRP for em, but I'll definitely pick these up on a discount.

Maybe they thought the closed mouth Demogordon looks like an ice cream scoop. Sepia was used for the “I Love Lucy” pops. There was also the wood finish pop.

I’m a huge Stranger Things fan and a bit of a completist so sadly I’ll buy the Robin and Steve, but they’re horrible and I have no idea wtf is going on at Funko. The endless Eddie pops from the same mould are a perfect example of how little of a shit they give about collectors and fans. You actually missed one, they released a 4 pack of battle Nancy, Robin, Vecna, and that same goddamn Eddie mould painted red and blue. I’m the idiot that bought them all. There are so many cool things and side characters they could release for Stranger Things that fans would eat up, but no, let’s just paint that one mould 38 different ways. But I guess they aim them at idiots like me that will buy them anyway. 😂

I’m a big Stranger Things fan and it’s one of the few lines that I’m trying to 100% but I really don’t like these. I don’t even understand the purpose of them. Like I could understand if it was some kind of cross promotion with some ice cream brand that was actually making Sherbert Surprise to sell in stores but this is just so random. And the most annoying thing is that they re-used the SDCC Fundays Robin mould for this!
Not for me. Very few color variants I'm looking to add to my collection. I have one art series Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey and it's cool but feels weirdly cheap.
Sherbet Surprise for MLP pops, okay. For Stitch or Sanrio pops, maybe. For Stranger Things pops, NO. Still probably going to get the SS demogorgon though. If only for the absurdity of it.

I like the colors but would like them on something else like some disney princesses or Winnie the pooh.
It surprises me that Funko does so many unnecessary color variations, but when it comes to lines where it actually makes sense to have multiple colors they don't do it. Transformers is a perfect example. They made a Starscream Pop!, but why not a Skywarp or Thundercracker? It's the same mold, but the change in color makes it a different character. Hasbro put in the work of making multiple characters from the same mold, and we as fans are okay with that. It's such a missed opportunity for Funko.

I was trying to be a completest with the stranger things set but now they’re just putting out wayyyy too many and it’s hard to keep up (so I have to just pick my favorites so im not going for these unless someone gives them to me for free 😂)

I like Stranger Things and the Stranger Things Funko Pops, but in my opinion, there’s just WAY TOO MANY Stranger Things Funko Pops. I have at least a dozen Stranger Things Funko Pops and I love having Funko Pops of Winona Ryder/ “Joyce Byers”. However, enough is enough on the Stranger Things Funko Pops.
Hopefully, after this wave, they will take a pause until season 5

Funko is not Beanie Babies 😂 And I don’t have the time to go into the 1000 reasons that statement is wrong…but we will agree to collect what makes you happy and not for investment. We’ve said that many times on this channel. Thanks for watching
@@KDogAndFish So glad you read my comment, and and I agree Funkos are not Beanie Babies. I collect Some Funkos too, I just feel like the excitement, and interest in collecting them is not as active as it use to be. I hope I am wrong.
