- One of the most common treatments of infertility is implantation. Techniques such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) are usually very successful methods of implantation. However, the methods are not fail proof, and there are a number of factors that can cause implantation failure. Repeated implantation failure (RIF) can sometimes occur, and investigations are made into the reasons behind this, and to look for ways to treat the causes.
Diagnosis of implantation failure
Diagnosis of implantation failure is broken down into two camps. Maternal testing and paternal testing.
Maternal tests for implantation failure:
• Thrombophilia (clotting) screen
This checks the possibility of any genetic or acquired disorders that increase the risk of clotting in the blood that can cause pregnancies to fail.
• Immunology screening
An overactive immune response, such as an increase in white blood cells can attack the implanted embryo leading to pregnancy failure.
• Hormonal screening
Small hormonal imbalances and disorders can affect the success rate of a pregnancy. Such problems as progesterone imbalances can cause the womb lining to mature too early, meaning it is not receptive to an embryo.
• Anatomical screening
There are a number of ways that a detailed assessment of the endometrium (womb lining) may be performed. Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) uses a dye passed into the womb, 3D ultrasound checks the structural abnormality of the womb while hysteroscopy uses a small scope to allow a more direct visualisation of the womb.
Paternal tests:
• Sperm DNA
There is evidence to suggest that damage to the sperm DNA can lead to failure of IVF. Sperm testing can help to rule out whether this is a factor in repeat implantation failure.
• Intracytoplasmic morphological sperm injection (IMSI)
An embryologist can check for tiny defects in the sperm head that may not be visible when testing the DNA.
• Karyotype
A blood test to check for genetic variations that are causing implantation failure.
Treatments for implantation failure
Depending on what kind of genetic or acquired disorders are discovered, there are a number of treatment methods that can overcome these problems, and lead to a higher chance of implantation success.
For any problems with blood clotting discovered through the thrombophilia screen, a simple course of aspirin can overcome this.
Endometrial scratch is a method of stimulating the womb prior to implantation that has been shown to improve implantation outcomes in those that had previously suffered with repeated implantation failure.
Endometrial receptivity array (ERA) is a way of assessing the perfect time for implantation, depending on genes within the lining of the womb, and when they are at their premium time for implantation.
Embryo selection techniques can help to overcome certain causes of cycle failure, such as a genetic screen of embryos, and using an embryoscope to monitor development of the embryo using time lapse technology.

Hi dear उम्मीद मत खोना.मेरे ३ अच्छी क्वालिटी के ब्लास्टोसिस्ट थे। डॉक्टर एक साथ तीनों ट्रांसफ़र करना चाहते थे पर हमने फर्स्ट टाइम में दो ही ट्रांसफ़र कराये और बहुत ज़्यादा ख़राब माहौल रहा ट्रांसफ़र के बाद।ट्रांसफ़र फेल हुआ.सेकंड टाइम बचा हुआ तीसरा ब्लास्टोसिस्ट ट्रांसफ़र कराया और सब ऊपर वाले के हाथ में छोड़ दिया.सोचा ही नहीं सिंपटम्स के बारे में और सक्सेसरहा। इस तरह २ बार ivf नहीं करना पड़ा सिर्फ़ २ बार ट्रांसफ़र ही हुआ .मैं साइंस की स्टूडेंट रही हूँ तो मुझे अच्छे औ पता था आईवीएफ़ के बारे में और गूगल सर्च भी बहुत किया था।उम्मीद है मेरी बात औ आपको थोड़ी राहत मिलेगी

Very very nice information madam thx why u didn’t get before 2022 I came india I got AIIms Dr she didn’t tell about anything she told everything is fine n she started my ivf journey she done Embryo transfer after too much paining Embryo was not stuck when I called clinic only Nurse attended phone n tell madam plz took these medicine if u have pain n didnt Dr
also after 5days I came in Gulf country n took 1n half months medicine dr told I took injections on time medecine on time here Dr told about medicine time schedule they didn’t tell any thing about my husband also called but not responed only nurse picked up call only tell money money we r loose too much hope but finally we a got Gud doctors in here I’ll try my best I never give up thx a lot madam

@@manjupunia6427 Transfer key 4th, 5th and 6th day pet dard huwa tha, confusion jaisa huwa tha, thoda kammar dard, pet me gas lekin bilkul difficult tha kya hai kya nai hai. Mera implantation spotting or bleeding nahi huwa, no bleeding at all. on 11th day after transfer they did bita-hcg pregnancy blood test and came excellent positive (1175 bita-hcg value and 43.7 progesteron level). I did not know that it was success or not success untill the pregnancy blood test day 11th. I did not do home pregnanct test of urin test. When I was waiting I had no idea mera sucess hora hai ki nahi. Only after blood test I came to know it was success. Symptoms clear nahi tha. Qu ki progesteron hormores, estrogen dabaa le rahi thi isi liye pata nahi tha ki pregnancy ki symptom hai yaa dabaa ki symptoms. so please patience and take care, go out little bit. I went to normal work at home or office/job. No need of bed rest but dont do heavy work or lifting, running exercise etc.
