I would like to see AdvancedEditions excuse for this one, seeing as he boasted about the fact that the USA will most " definitely " get a win over Finland, and yet they lost. I honestly don't get this guy, I understand that you're rooting for your team and what not, but bringing toxicity in isn't doing any good. And this is in response to him taking shots on Latvia and calling us incompetent, delusional etc, yet the USA had a worse result against Finland than Latvia. Just saying. This was a good reality check for the USA, not saying they played bad, but Finland humbled them a lot by showing them that they aren't young invincible eagles, and that you can lose when playing against people who have dedicated and sacrificed for this sport.

@@Woody13ify Well, as a Finn, I waited alot for the best Finnish NHL players to join olympics. But no. And we never get NHL players to join our team. Our best attackers keep playing in playoffs. And yes, heiskanen is joining us on thursday.
@@Woody13ify finlands "stacked" nhl reinforcements were 4 which 2 have active contracts and usa has 16. So yeah Finland obviously massively overpowered.

The Finns sure look like one of the main threats for the gold. That goal they conceded was weak tho, really poor position by the goalie.
Yeah they kinda eased up in the third, didn't matter much but should've atleast put in the effort to keep Olkinuora's 0.

He should have done that himself. His position when Galchenyuk scored was poor.
@@midimusicforever I think you’re wrong. It wasn’t really weak positioning from Olkinuora. It was just unexpected play from Galchenyuk. Sometimes those can go in, but usually shouldn’t I agree with that. If you watched the game, he made many key saves in that game and he’s NHL caliber goalie. The game was already 4-0 at that point and less than 2 min to go - so basically game over. Galchenyuk can try the same in the gold medal game in OT, I mean if they can make it which I highly doubt on. This Finland team is 90% the same as it was in the Olympics, when they got the gold there. Team USA doesn’t have the same continuity and chemistry with their players.

Usa lacked disipline.
I would say this was good game but USA had 39 penalty minutes, one guy thrown out of the game. Most penalties just dumb and from too rough playing. Should have gotten even more. Finland also had some penalties like their goalie's dumb interference penalty. And there was a lot of fighting. Like even in the end USA player just tackles Finnish guy to the boards even though the game was over. Just constant game interruptions the entire first 2 periods.

I don't know what it is with USA and this tournament but they can't seem to do any better then bronze. USA has done well at other international tournaments but can't see to get over the hump at the Worlds. Also the retro video game sound effects for this year is super annoying.
