i think rabbit hole is on the minor music scale, and mesmerizer is on the major music scale, so the two songs work extremely well together when paired up.

for rabbit hole, the verse 1 indeed plays in minor scale and is one note lower than mesmerizer. the reason it doesn't sound off is because i changed the tone of the singing to match the tone of music.
for rabbit hole's chorus, it rises up one note and changes to major scale, which naturally mashes well with mesmerizer's chorus as well.
halfway into the chorus, rabbit hole rises another note, but mesmerizer didn't change until the last chorus, so i swapped the first chorus half with the last chorus half to match with rabbit hole sudden note change
