'Sunset on the Hill' Event on Myrtle Hill

Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism in partnership with the Myrtle Hill/Oak Hill Memorial Association hosted “Sunset on the Hill” on Thursday, September 28 from 6 pm to 7:30 p.m. The event celebrates art and history to benefit the preservation of Rome’s historic cemeteries.
Guests were invited to mingle among the final resting places of notable Romans and enjoy themed cocktail (or mocktail) stations and light appetizers. They viewed the beautiful, recently completed sculpture, “Angel in the Oak”, and met artist Jeremy Smith who shared about his creative process.
