These crafts are a way to express yourself so you need to do just that. My mother always told me that I was taking forever on my handwork but she always loved the results when I finished. She understood that things went much more slowly and stitches got taken out if I forced myself to work on something. It needs to be a labor of love.

Tina, don’t feel defeated. You do so many other crafty things...there is only so much time. Like you, I knit and crochet and cross stitch. I have so many projects on the go and occasionally feel a bit sad that I don’t have a ton of finishes. But I enjoy working on all my projects so I try not to let it bother me. You did have a significant amount of finishes this year between cross stitch and knitting.

I think we all have the same self made stress. We start making videos to share our stitching and then some how the videos start to take control of our stitching . I think it comes down to simple people pleasing but in reality the more stitching we show the more viewers feel they are not stitching fast enough LOL . Best wishes for 2021 x
