@@hellbound2152 sony change it to work. no need to do. Multiman latest firmware may brick it. Always change /dev_hdd1 to /dev_hdd0
If anyone is having trouble with there internet browser on their 3DS/2DS . Make sure your Date & Time settings are accurate and current! If not you may get a Error code everytime you load the page
Yup the 1 roadblock when deleting cookies. If your date and time is not set correctly it will not flash the colors and load homebree launcher.

I just want to say thank you for being so straightforward, I have never owned or used a 3DS, I have never jailbroken or modded a console in my life.. but using your video as a visual guide and checking the official guide encase it wasn't as up to date has allowed me to do so much more on my new 2DS XL, so excited to play some games :) thank you man!

I've already Jailbroke my 3ds in 11.50 but I like to watch the Blainlocklair videos because he really shows step by step. It's like watching a normal video
After successfully modding/jail breaking your 3DS do this:
Open up your "Rosalina menu" then select "Screen filters". Select the very bottom selection "Advanced configuration".
Here you will need to change the "Gamma" setting to 1.50 and the "Contrast" to 1.20. After that press B two times to return to the main "Rosalina menu".
Lastly select "Save settings". Once that is done congratulations! Your 3DS now displays more color. You can now exit the menu. Once you get use to this look you may never wanna go back to the default filters.
I've had mine for years and I didn't even know about this.

if you do this and then decide to upgrade your micro sd card, do you have to go through the whole process again or do you just copy the files over to the new sd card?
This doesnt have a cias folder, how do I follow the snickerstream guide? I tried just dragging the cia anywhere like mentioned in that video but it crashed the ds so I had to use the back up

For the 3ds xl do i have to open the system for the sd card? Or is it the one which is the SDHC ? For the hack to work
I have a 32gb micro sd card that I want to use, do I have to reformat the card in some way before or after I copy the files from my old sd card into my new 32gb one?
Edit: I had a 32gb sandisk microsd card, after some searches I found out you don’t need to reformat any sd cards as long as they’re under 32gb.
i already jailbroke my new 2ds but i reset it and now it gets stuck on yellow screen after the web browser part and i have done everything different websites have said but none have worked help
at the 2nd color show it just froze at green i am scared what do i do

2 days ago, I did it first with my new 3DS XL and then with the old 3DS from my sister.
The old 3DS have a few different steps, but in general, the are the same and after do it with my 3DS, I know how to Do it.

I have most of my games I love on Cartridges. But I never got the Opportunity to buy the DLC before they bent over the Eshop and shut it down :(
I do have a questi9n if anybody can answer. So I have a 3ds with majoras mask on game card. I want to install project restoration for it. I read somewhere the newer version in Luma doesn't work with project restoration and you Need an older version. Can someone confirm please? I am very inexperienced when it comes to emulation and modding and the like.
Just bought an original 2DS (the wedge shaped one) and I'm assuming the steps are pretty much the same as the newer systems? If not what are the differences? Really don't want to brick my device.

My systems are still on 11.16.49 E(the one before last), I was told not to update them but now looking at the guide the methods for mine and the latest are the same.
Should I go ahead and update them before modding?
@ 13:48 the part where it say “What You Need” is different. There’s two direct download files (finalize helper.firm and finalize.romfs) and the instructions are different… I’m guessing it’s been updated since this video

Can I do this process with my previous games installed in the sd card?
I'm beginning to wonder whether there's been a block to this working. I've been going over this again and again, and troubleshooting, and I even tried the MSET9 version, and no joy. I've modded my PSP umpteen times, and have a background in techy type things, and yet, this eludes me. 😢

Hi the process was working fine until i got to the finalizing setup part where there was no zip file to download with the other files in it. instead there was something called a ROMF file. idk what that is but is there anything to do about it? i cant continue with the setup without that zip file! Thanks.
same issue, i googled the file then added it to the right directory and executed the file in gm9 but it shuts my ds off and now im at a loss

The QR code on the page that you have to scan is wrong, even if we scanned the right one it direct us to the korea one so just type the link with your stylo to be sure.
