In Episode 3 of “How It’s Made” by ADV, we discuss the design, manufacturing process, and installation of the Bronco Ram Air hood. This video highlights the design philosophy of creating a hood that looks like it came from Ford, the manufacturing process using top and bottom molds, and the easy 10-minute installation.

🚗 The ADV team also offers the Heat Extractor Hood as an option, which customers can choose between the two designs.

Great video! Can you run hood struts on your Ram Air hood? Does your hood have metal inserts for bolt points? Thanks for your help about to pull the trigger.
Yes, we run MRT hood struts on our shop bronco.
Sick hood! Does this intake introduce more noise at high speeds?
Nope, we have not noticed any additional noise from the hoods we offer.
Any new designs coming? I feel like this is the only good option out there, but seems like everyone already has it, lol
We do not have any plans for a new hood design currently.
Is the opening a funnel for water when it rains?
The mesh openings are very small and do not let much water get in. You will have more water enter through your grille openings than through the small good mesh openings. Please let me know if i can answer anymore questions, I am happy to help!
Hi i appreciate your good work, just curious on the hood, dose heat have effect on the inside?
The hood has extra air flow from the ram air opening so the heat is lower than normal.
