Off-Grid Homesteading, worth it? enough is enough overwhelmed.

After spending a year working our totally Off-Grid Homestead in the mountainous wilderness Po is missing and Tammy leaves. Starting from Zero and trying to build a home without modern conveniences is overwhelming to say the least. We learned that it is one thing to spend a weekend or a few weeks, but 24/7 is on a whole different level. Will Po be found? Will Tammy come back or did a life of truly roughing it put to much strain on our marriage. How do these youtubers do it???? or are they really??????? Should I quit and rejoin society?

It takes a lo of commitment to stay off grid but one thing I've found (and we're not full time off grid) is to make sure there are the amenities that she needs to be comfortable ;) It's a challenge for sure and I hope you two can work it out!
