Why aren't more people watching this show! Speakeasy might just be the best show on the internet!
THIS right fucking here is why I love new media...Good luck finding content of this sort on TV. Everyone involved in Made Man, I LOVE YOU
Episodes like this make me realize that Speakeasy is probably the best interview series online, right next to Kevin Pollak's Chat Show. PFT should have his own late night television series, man. I'd love to see him expand this format into a full hour on Comedy Central. So damn charming.
I've always thought of him as a good replacement for James Lipton on Inside the Actors studio... which I think is the best interview show out there. Lipton is getting old and not producing as much shows, but missing out on his kind of interviews where almost every actor seems comfortable and interesting because they are allowed to talk about what they want, would be a very big loss... PFT has a similar kind of magic with his guests, he could do it.
And btw... Riggles should be a leading comedic actor, that guy is funny.
+mnchls for comedians. Nardwuar, a music interview is the God interview in my opinion he usually interviews rappers, although sometimes interviews indie artists and actors. He goes so deep, he knows shit about people that NO ONE knows, the questions he asks are great.
I love how Rob plays such a douche bag in every movie yet in person he seems like such a cool guy
Well, I just gained so much respect for Mr. Riggle. I had no idea he had such a detailed past.
that's usually the case with actors or comedians. i mean not to rub it or anything, but just in general, in order to actually get noticed, they have to go through a lot of shit and most of the time it's incredibly fascinating.
+stripgaga unless your Tim Minchin, whose story is equally fascinating in just how quickly it went from failed musician giving comedy a try to Fringe Fest Best Newcomer in about a year
+samooryesord everyone you pass on the street has a life just as complex and intricate as your own.
I started watching this show a couple of months ago and am completely addicted. This was a very good one. Thanks PFT for doing this. Best talk show on any format.
Nathan Fillion needs to come back now that you guys are longer.
Similar to Rob, my grandparents took my sister and I, as children under 10, to see "There's something about Mary" in the theater. It was Great!! They were so embarrassed, but got over it and just laughed it up.
my parents never really censored anything for me. now that i think of it, they never really had a "sex" talk with me. most of the fucked up shit i've seen i learned from watching hbo or on the internet. not that my parents didn't parent, but i think my brother and i came along at a time when times were changing. i was born in 85 but i really grew up and learned in the 90s during the birth of the internet and spread of information. i would watch adult oriented movies (like forrest gump, eddie murphy movies, naked gun movies, etc, not porn) with my parents and it was amazing. they weren't hippies, but their parenting style was more about introducing my brother and i to things and then they would parent us on how to understand it, what is right, wrong, and the smart thing to do. so i also watched a lot of movies and adult oriented material when i was younger and i think it helped mold me for sure
ive always like most movies riggle has done with the exception of a few, but this just made me have so much more respect for him. i always love hearing comedians and comedy actors talk about the road it took to get were they are. i think few have a military background like him though. many props to ya rob
This was the best one yet. On behalf of myself and every American, thank you.
These are great, please keep doing them :)
#DumbTo star Rob Riggle talks about his worst audition ever, serving in the Marine Corps and #SNL in a new Speakeasy with PFT.
Tom..I love you do this show. You ask good things and you actually let them talk without interruptions. And you seem to actually like what people talk about
The stash has to go, it looks goofy. It makes it look like your wife is 7. Lol Great interview though! Would've liked to hear more about #Dumbto though!
Neal Caraballo He lost the mustache for one episode and I can't even watch the whole thing.

Police Academy in '83. It was great!!!
Rob Riggle is such a cool performer, he doesn't really fit into any clear box (kind of zigs when you think he's gonna zag). Really enjoyed this interview.
Goddammit I love Rob Riggle. Huge respect for the guy. His Kevin Pollack interview is great as well.
Bring. This. Show. Back. Damnit.
I'm glad he stopped flying cuz this man is hilarious.
Just realized these two have the exact same voice. Sounds like PFT talking to himself without video

PFT is SUCH a good interviewer
The best.
He can relate to pretty much anything because he's already done pretty much everything. Plus he keeps the guest talking and interjects when needed
