Sorry if I missed it...but I would throw two small dollar store super glues in there. Maybe in an altoid tin or somthing like that to keep them from popping. I have used that stuff on some really deep finger cuts that others would have insisted I should "get looked at". Haha. It works damn good. If you use a good ammount it creates a cool hard shell that really helps keep the wound closed and protected. After a few days it should be easy to pick off like a scab. Of course you can use it for other things like repairs as well. Thanks for the video.
Excellent video. In my firestarter kit, I keep several cotton balls covered in Vaseline. It stays dry and when you light it, the Vaseline keeps it from burning too quickly. Almost like a candle. You got your sh!t together, man..

I'm on long island, NY and these mutants from SA are here. They are very easy to spot .They travel as couples here, as to blend in I guess, but the woman look tougher than the men. This couple were in a plain looking Honda in a walgreens parking lot parked. I coincidentally parked right next to them. They look way different than Mexican Americans, you can spot them a mile away. I stared at them and into their car, it was absolutely spotless in the backseat, nothing . These mutants are sleeper cells, we are in trouble because they have a plan and most Americans are clueless of this situation and how bad it's gonna get when they strike.
A few things I never thought about carrying, especially the little saw, and zippy ties...

No cash/coin? No lifestraw? No tourniquet? It’s a mini first aid/rescue kit. If you’re escaping and evading you’re not gonna stop and light a fire or be blowing a whistle. I’d throw in a change of socks for sure. Where are you at that you won’t be able to get to your “real pack”? Unless you’re 10 miles from the nearest house you’re not gonna light a fire. Self awareness, protection, and first aid from a gunshot or knife cut should be the top priority right now.

I like your ideas sir. I have quite a few bug out bags myself, being that I was an ARMY Ranger and was in a LRS company from 2002-2005. I was in OIF and OEF. Also during my time in, I got the opportunity to go to and through 7 different countries!
ALL that being said,
I have it on good authority, and Intel that the next time the United States gets attacked, it will more than likely be from our own government! There are different scenarios, and ideas that I have heard passed around, all of which I wouldn’t be surprised of. That being said, I think it would be smart to add at least two MRE’s, a lot more gorilla tape and 550 cord, and some type of handgun/short-barreled rifle and 3 to 6 magazines full of ammo. You always have-to have a way to protect your family and yourself/as well as your gear in the event of a total FUBAR situation! 👍😉

I have one of those Altoids Smalls tins, it will hold more than a box of wood stick matches, I cut some wax paper, two strips to fit the dimensions like this ( +) and the ends fold over the matches like a box lid to help keep them dry, the tin is way more durable than the match box ,I glued the two strikers to the underneath of the lid. and I keep it in the change / zippo pocket in my jeans.

Richie is a very devout and well-read Christian. Prayer is always good but preparing helps, too! Even squirrels don’t considering gathering nuts for the coming winter a “self fulfilling prophecy.” They know what’s coming and they prepare! You ever buy car insurance or health insurance? Same thing. The difference is in mentality: it’s one thing to be prepared. It’s another thing to let fear drive your life. Excessive fear can fuel a self-filling prophecy. But if wisdom, intuition and common sense caused a “self fulfilling prophecy” - then the only alternative would be to run around like complete oblivious idiots thinking that if they just “stay positive” and keep “hope alive,” that nothing bad will happen.
If prayer as a form of preparation is looked upon with favor, why wouldn’t an equal amount of physical and material preparation also be?
If I am concerned about protecting my home and family, is buying a gun considered “self fulfilling prophecy”? Are you saying that buying a gun for self defense somehow causes home invasions, so that the only solution to preventing home invasions is to pray for God’s protection and otherwise be completely defenseless?
People in the Bible pray for wisdom. That wisdom includes knowing when to prepare, how to prepare, and actually being prepared.

Little trick... instead of a sewing kit, use dental floss.. dental floss is way stronger, and you can store the needles in the case it comes in.. dental floss is also waxed and sterile, so you can sew a wound up, but don't use the flavored crap for wound care.. It catches fire quite nice.. it's nylon and wax, makes a great little torch.. the cinnamon string attracts fish for some reason, if used for fishing line... the mint stuff hasn't worked as well for me..
I've been carrying stuff like this for years.. After service, I kind of dropped out of society and started hopping freight trains around the country... just my dog and I, and we each had a backpack... he carried his own food, his own meds (if needed) in his saddle harness.. me, just a medium Alice Pack.. very light.. I only have 1 leg, so I don't carry much.. bag weighed maybe 10 or 15 lbs at most...
I took what I was taught as a kid for camping, fishing, hunting, boy scouts, etc, and combined it with military and surviving the rails, and the streets... mixed it all up..
Home bums have the best ideas, of you wanna know all the ins and outs of a city, talk to your local homeless people.. stay away from the junkies, obviously but an old school drunken home bum knows all the safe places, where to find the beat items.. home bums are the perfect graymen.. I've snuck out of some sketchy situations in the past..
These days, it's a little different scenario.. so my bag will be packed with more military survival items..
a bag like this is great to always have, but there will be nobody to evade if they attack here , it will be hits on power and water infrastructure
