  • At the Garage Build Bike Show during the Daytona Bike Week, we caught up with Andrew C. Leibman, Sr. and he gave us a walkthrough on his 1971 XLCH Sportster.
Andrew’s Sportster is in immaculate condition, even though he originally built this bike decades ago and rides it all the time. When it first came to him, the bike was in rough shape and needed to be repaired almost every time he rode it. Andrew then decided to build it right and it hasn’t even leaked oil since.
This kicker only Sportster features 10.5:1 compression Hemi heads that are ported and polished and the original Tillotson carburetor. The engine is fit into a Paughco frame with a 6-over front end. Andrew built the sissy bar from some deck railing that he cut and chromed. The bike has KR style pipes that have a smooth profile. A lot of the other parts came off older Harleys that Andrew picked up at swap meets.
Dennis Kirk has you covered with over 185,000 parts in-stock and ready to ship today! #denniskirk #ridemorewaitless
