All your guys who complain about his set and that proclaim to be a fan. Did you knew that he have played 2 LIVE SETS YES 2 Trance only set at the same festival. Both set under the alias Gaia... It's called mainstage for a reason...

Yes I went to EDC 2015 The mainstage was great just to see Armin play on it but on Sunday Armin played @ circuit grounds as Gaia That in itself was the best set @EDCLV15 at least when Armin was on the mainstage everything had a Trance Background to it.
and he is no posers hes been doing this for years longer than most Dj that usually play at these events

It's simple if you want to understand trance you shouldn't go see any artists at the mainstage of an EDM festival .
Go to a place where the majority if not the totality of the lineup are from the Trance family.
* Ex: If you were there at EDC that year. You could have went to his 2 Gaia set.
* Ex n.2: One of the best DJ I have ever seen, Eric Cloutier. Came at the Bachannale Festival. He played a more "accessible " and "housy" set.
Then at an event where he was booked with Cio d'Or. He played a more experimental form of techno.

Fernando Haskiviar Definitely not. I was upset Hardwell didn't play it when he was here in Chicago for Spring Awakening Music Festival. Have yet to hear it live...I want to sooooo badly! It's a fantastic collab. Also wonder what the official track name will be. Maybe Interstellar.

I was there live for this set and it was AMAZING. Despite most of the tracks being progressive bigroom stuff, a lot of them either were mash ups with trance breakdowns or they just had a trancey breakdown to begin with. This is pretty much as trance as it could get on a mainstage (especially in America) these days.. You cant blame Armin, hes merely acting as a DJ should. He changes up his live set depending on the event and line up. If hes playing on a trance stage or a side stage hes gunna bring his trance sound, if hes playing on a mainstage hes gunna bring his trancey bigroom sound. He just evolved and adapted to the new generation..

I went to EDCLV 2015 this year and I have to honestly say, Armin van Buuren at Kineticfield had the best intro I've ever seen!!! Connecting Panta Rhei with the Crystal Village Performance absolutely blew me away!!!! Amazing Set!!!!!
was there for this set. really liked it. was also at mainstage for above and dash and i gotta say armin delivered for my trance craving more than either of them did so idk why everyones complaining really?? fav set of the weekend (only on a technicality since i missed eric prydz and UMEK's sets)
This is absolutely one of the best sets i have seen. if you guys only come here to talk bla blah then listen to his ASOT set from EDC lasvegas as well as ultra. he is fantastic. AMAZING EVERY YEAR> my number 1 dj vote!
I was there and really loved his set even though it wasn't trance, but because this was mainstage I knew it wasn't going to be a lot of trance (that's what Gaia was for!!!). The crowd really killed the vibe for me though. I felt like not a lot of people were there to enjoy the music but were there just to be there.

I've been listening the ID from Hardwell &AVB and I prefer when AVB play it, he put on more speed, like more bpm that Hardwell's version and looks better.

vortexx killax That's because in America we don't do "heyyy hooo" chants. But I assure you, that crowd was absolutely wild up front. I've never been to a festival in Europe but I've been to Tomorrowworld and Ultra Miami and I have to say EDC blows both of them away in terms of crowd energy.
