Late game PvT is so hard to watch. Protoss builds ultra expensive carriers? Go vikings. Builds ultra expensive colosus? Build vikings. Builds an insanely expensive mothership? LOL Vikings go brrrrrr. For everything else, there is a tier 1 unit that costs only 50 minerals, gets 2 upgrades and scales incredibly into late game by being able to attack both air and ground units.
add instant fire huge splash damage max range tanks to make sure that you can force any game into late game. i really dont understand how terran has not been ultra nerfed with just how op so many of their units are compared to other races

Pro players don't like playing storm into EMP for reasons you can imagine. Some have pulled it off but not hero or maxpax.
EMP is simply OP in the right hands.
Imagine giving high templar the speed of ghosts.. imagine disruptors given the speed of ghosts.. imagine disruptors having an option to pre-detonate (instant damage like EMP). "Ah... I see you invested into high templar, and researched storm AND WAITED FOR ENERGY and merged some for archons.. Yeah; I made a ghost, EEEEEE-MMMMMM-PPPPPPPP makes you go GeeeeGeeeee"
turns out marines mine medivacs and viking are still broken and emp is overpowerted vs protoss. seems nothing changes
Approx 1100 pro PvT games per month for the past 3 months with winrates of 52%, 53% and 51% all in favour of protoss.

And ghost can snipe high templar while being cloak. Storm can be evade, while ghost: emp insta delete shield, shut down robo unit, AnTi_aRmoR, nUcLeaR static defense
last game 8 disruptors managed to kill 1 ghost.

I watch these before i sleep usually. Just had a dream where i was fighting demons and shit as some kind of soldier like in tarcov or scp foubdation. This one was a monster tht looks like a baby but its incredibly strong, bullet proof and eats people. I was mad at it and was beating t with a chair but got too close and it started pulling ny head towards its mouth. The struggle to not have y face chewed off was so great i woke up. So yeah. The dreams inspired by winter

It should move like a reaver scarab and detonate normally. This still gives terran time to dodge. Not a predictable ball slow ass ball.
@@orangepearlf40 there was a HOTS mod that made the ravager throw a ground indicator for where his bile will land forward in the direction of his target, not instant but faster than the ruptor's blast & smaller, and the first enemy unit hit gets hit by the bile drop and splashes enemies near him.
i always thought that would be a way better way for the ruptor to work. make em a little faster so they're near-guarenteed to hit SOMETHING, a little smaller & detonate when they hit the first unit so they don't need to be balanced against the possibility they wipe out a whole army in 1 shot, and tie them to energy somehow so they aren't just firing off cooldown -- that raven with the tri-turrets in this match was far more interesting than it would have been if it had no energy and your opponent just pops the raven by to throw down the obligatory turret every time its off cooldown

Viking ghost is so BS vs protoss, i cannot think of a comp that can counter it. (Maybe tempests but thats really rough as a protoss to be forced into a fleet beacon)
Disruptors can trade with ghosts, even clem doesn't always dodge (although he often makes them look useless). Stalkers usually walk forward to snipe a viking and blink back. So the toss playstyle is always trying to pick at the terran and retreat while doing damage with zealot/dts/prism. If the terran gets to fight where they want, it's an overwhelming advantage.
@@GabaGhoul0 i understand 9/10ths of protoss is being at the right place and having the right units before you need them, but the Vikings can dodge and medivacs can save the ghosts if you have the APM. Plus Landed Vikings have a DMG bonus versus almost every unit protoss has... (Keep in mind storm doesn't stack with DMG unlike emp because only one of these spells are instant cast and effect, I am ok with a shorter duration storm with the same total DMG but IDK how that would affect things)
I forgot to mention marauders/siege tanks covering the ghosts but I digress its like playing rock paper scissors gun
@mattoverton9087 ye, this is why you don't fight with the main army unless it's with batteries or you have significant supply advantage. mostly posture and feign pressure while using disrupters one at a time to control their movement. Every once in a while, you land a ball or snipe something with stalkers. And at the same time, you have zealots in all their bases. Eventually, you can build enough production to trade out your main army in a big fight before warping in like 20 zealots on the front line to push through
@mattoverton9087 storm is a different style and much harder to play bc the micro tax of two prisms and templar scattered everywhere attempting to feedback or dodge ghosts. It's really fun, though, and super satisfying.
It's insane how many harassment tools T has in early game, and how easy it is to disrupt P. PvT is so imbalanced, I feel for all P players out there
terran have all tools to break P, and the micro amount protoss must do against hit and run T "micro" is riculous

Those first two games were hard to watch. Why did they make adepts need 3 shots to kill an scv again? Oh yeah, can't give protoss an early strat that can kill a terran if they are caught of guard, but let's give terran 50 of those... cool story.

Just make an extra adept or go for upgrades, mines + medivac ain't coming for your arse until the 15m mark

Gas and/or pylon block terrans expansion every game.
There's no other way to get an initial advantage on Terran and prevent being on the back foot.
Here are the reasons why.
1. Stalkers: Can't do anything with them initially because you have to deal with a reaper by the time you get to their ramp they have marines/marauders and cyclone to defend.
2. Zlot: get kitted by reaper
3. adept: To slow and is to busy chasing a reaper like a kid on a playground. Even if you get to the ramp the damage output is pathetic on structures.
4. sentry: too expensive on gas and is worse than an adept.
5. Proxy gate: Once they catch you doing it every game you will be hard countered. Terran proxy is more effective than a toss proxy as they can lift back to home base.
6. Warp prism/blink: Map dependent. This won't work on every map.
Summary: If you can't get the initial advantage (momentum) on Terran , then by default its most likely GG for toss at the PRO level. This makes the game more terran favored in a PVT matchup.
Imbalanced? Yes, not significantly , but enough to get ROLF stomped by imba Terran. GOOD LUCK FOLKS!

Is it normal for me to ALWAYS root AGAINST the Terrans whenever I see a game? Don't matter if it's TvP or TvZ, if there's a Terran playing I am ALWAYS hoping they lose.. always thought they have the most OP, Broken, and Cheap a$$ race..
Between reapers, widow mines, double viking production, double medvac production, m&m that counters most both air and ground units at the same time, ENDLESS mules and scans, and of course ghosts that counter literally EVERYTHING.. it's annoying AF watching Terrans always have the upperhand. 😕

Terran is so broken, my game designer brain cries every time I watch a game with this race in it.
Ghost is a hero unit, it should cost way more, and be limited to at most 2-3 at a time.
Mine is too strong for requiring no extra APM once its set.
Marines are the only base unit that has range (which gives them insane advantage against other early game units that are melee), and can also attack ground and air. Remove their air attack, and give it to Marauders, at least this will slightly balance them. Let's not even talk about their DPS output for their cost.
Mules... Yeah, Terran is the only race with a literal cheat for economy.
Scans... Yeah, once more, Terran is the only race with a literal maphack.
You're right for somes points, but remove mules and terran will just be trash tier ^^. But yea ghosts should cost more, something like 3 supply instead of 2 and maybe +25/25 minerals/gaz, or something like that. About widowmine I think you are a bit wrong, in perfect case yes they do not require extra apm, but now pro manage to dodge them and even bring a lot of friendly fire to the Terran.

How did MaxPax lose the fight at 1:05:30 ?? 3 Colosus + gate way army vs. marines and marauders. The 3 Colosus just didn't do any damage at all.

T marauder heavy. P down 15 army supply, ran out of chargelots, no guardian shield, fought in open field and got concaved.
@@nooonanoonung6237 actually it was just 10 supply down. But I don't know if that is the whole army we see. At 1:03:35 there was 12 stalker 3 colosus vs. 11 marauders 10 marines. At the end there was 10 marauders 3 marines left. I think the problem is, the stalkers sometimes fire at marines and the colosus fire at the marauders, minimizing any damage. I dunno, but nobody can expect to micro the stalkers to target the marauders and the colosus to target the marines. Also the medivacs just happy heal away any damage. My guess is that Colosus is just bad vs. marines+marauders.
@@holz_name There aren't many marines in the first place. Magic number of Colossi vs Marauders is 4, Maxpax only had 3. P threw away 20 ish supplies of chargelots in failed harrassment. Clossi crumbles vs heavy marauder bio without Chargelot tanking in the front.
Chargelots are supposed to counter Marauders, allowing Colossus to swipe at Bio.
@@holz_name at 1:05:25 there were about 15 Marauders and 15 marines plus 3 vikings.
From an observer's perspective, I belive ghosts' EMP against Protoss' shields are just way too strong, like u need 2 or 3 wel placed ghosts with EMPs to delete all shields from Protoss' whole 100 supply army... instant disadvantage, because opponent clicked a broken button. Does it even have any counter play except high templar feedback that would never land, I think?

I feel like there has come a time to that the buffs/nerfs should be decided on A.I. matches with 1500+ apm. I just dont don't see how terran can counter the entirety of protoss with ghosts + vikings sprinkling their t1 marines. It's a pain to as a watcher. I see disruptors and know they will be clunky and underwhelming 9 out of 10 times. Literally gambling vibes but like vs a casino. You know you do it for the dopamine hit not because its good. Because its a "G" more than a "GG".

I still don't understand why pro Protoss players insist on using Disruptors. From all the games I've seen they only hit 1/20 times. And when they do hit it doesn't make a difference.

It seems like when Winter's casting MaxPax always loses, pretty much like all PvT. If disruptors don't land, P is dead in the water, and there's a timer on all of that, once T gets 10 libs it's over.

I feel your dream of 1mil subs could be a reality easily if you 1 casted any other non dead game. or 2 advocated for change more. The amount of times ive tried to promote gameplay change so this game can feel enjoyable, fresh, and unexpected is too many to count even going as far as being silenced from your discord XD (had to leave that and unsub sorry hope you fix your discord). Its a great game but its held back by being the same exact game without any real innovation since release.
