It is a so beautiful sport. Best thing I ever did and recommend anyone to try it, even if it is just a tandem. I have a fear of heights, so don´t worry about that.
I discovered the band Hum at the U of Illinois in 1991. I became a licensed skydiver in 2020. And to watch two of my favorite things come together in one video, just made my day. FYI - One night when I was bartending at Kams at U of I, I even told the lead singer of Hum (Matt Talbott) that Hum’s album “Electra 2000” was, imho, much better than the Smashing Pumpkins “Gish”. My ears still ring from seeing them perform “Winder” at the Metro in Chicago. -Mike P B-52994
I did 2 coach jumps pretty much right away and the rest have been solo. I really like jumping alone and tracking FAST! So much fun. I have 3 more coach jumps and a hop n pop left. Of course the one time of year it actually rains I'm trying to finish! Hey man your exits look a hell of a lot better than mine!
“Iron Clad Lou” Damn good stuff!!!!! I haven’t heard anything from Electra 2000 in many years. Having gone to the U of I from 1991-1997 I’ve seen Hum play live more times than I can count. Great job!!!! This video made my day. Mike P B-52994
that‘s the most fun at all! the seconds when the door opens, see the other sksydivers step out into the air and when it‘s you turn! that‘s the greatest kick!
Those tracks and forward movement, I just kept giving the legs out sign to my screen lol.....gotta get that positive pressure with those legs bro. The last track was a lot better.
Rad video thanks for sharing! Got coach rating in Sep. and just starting to do coach jumps with students and wanting to gauge how close I should shoot for. My flying skills are way below instructor level so it's nice to have a bar to shoot for. Solid progress here too! Are you still current?

Nice jumps buddy. I'm sure by now you are a veteran..... It's amazing how much progression is made from 1 jump to the next. Keep it up and keep safe
