Element RC has released yet another spin on the popular and proven Enduro platform: The KnightRunner! This is definitely a lot more accurate than the trailrunner, I think it's a great body option for scale overlanders like myself 😉

This "not a Tacoma" is a great new release. Ditch the body pins & it would be outstanding.
I feel like an Interior, inner fenders, and lights need to be a staple by now, but maybe it keeps cost down.
This truck is definitely priced below the competition. With all the rising RC prices these days, I have to respect their choice to omit some features in order to keep the cost down. Personally though, I find the cost of aftermarket accessories adds up fast, so if you do want to add headlights / tail lights, interior, inner fenders, it ends up costing more than what the RTR probably would have been with those features included.
If you have a 3D printer, this is the truck to get!

Yep I thought of KITT and the irony of being RTR Knight Customs have already got some files for this beauty, may well be my first crawler purchase as you know I am a 5th scale gas guy who has been tempted to the Dark side with the TRAXXAS UDR and a SBR clone so some electric gear.
I was on the fence as far as independent front suspension, I watch a slightly modified new Ford Bronc with a two inch lift and thirtyseven inch tyres along with a Ford Ranger and they did the hard end of the Rubicon and it kept with Lite Brite's highly modified and upgraded $100,000 Jeep JL, and did all the Jeep lines with ease so maybe a Sendero with IFS can keep with the solid axle vehicles, a good driver and the right parts is all that is needed.

I was so hoping you would have the cheeseburger eating shot. James did a great job on this, it is very hard to scale a truck and adjust to a specific wheelbase.

Proportions... the one thing that lets down the TRX4 Defender imo.

I pick up the conversion for my SCX 2, to build a clone, of my 88 Toyota xtra cab.. Now this, but I think it is to short to fit the killer bodies Toy, pick up!? Just want it scale as possible. this is a good looking set up for Toyotas with IFS IMO.

I believe the logo of knight customs is the same logo as knigh industries from the series
Dodge made a pickup in 2016 called the Night Runner... you could option it with the V10 out of the viper. It was a half ton pickup which was blacked out with blue logos.

This is definitely high on my list of rigs to buy. I hope they offer it in other colors though. Barcelona Red and VooDoo Blue would be my choices.

What a beautiful truck but man those body post gotta go ...all that work in design and crappy body clips destroying it.. Also knights should of integrated headlight buckets to the grill..just would if made that truck body so much better and its already nice
There’s some room for custom work, I like what he offers in 3D print files. Makes the user feel more involved!

thanks for this review... had I not seen this, I would not have known about it... I haven't gotten a trail truck in a long time... but the proportioned looks and the trail-proven chassis of this might make me jump in
