This game literally combines all of the good things from SMP, Top 100, and all of what we have been asking for for over a decade.
SMP sucked tho lol. this is all the good that MP used to be and its back all we need is more Boards and we r good.

Mario Party Superstars has some of the best boards. The gameplay has a huge improvement from the previous Mario Party title.

We needed dark stars in this game
So glad to see the pacing has increased drastically since Super Mario Party....everything felt SO SLOW in SMP...the fact it took almost an hour to complete 10 turns was unacceptable
4:57:50 Luigi did so well in Horror Land that the grid line or whatever it's called for him is forming a staircase to his success.
This game improved various things from SMP, that's a good point.
Im so hyped but I wish there were more boards. Hopefully dlc

Mario Party the Top 100 was a disaster back then, this one is a vast improvement of that game.
Even though it’s a spin-off, I have to agree.

I'm just not a huge fan of the UI style. It looks so generic compared to the older titles.

I remember trying to get to 50 jumps back in MP2's Mini game coaster (Hard difficulty) being a real pain due to watching the movement.

There might be dlc since if you look into the games files there is code for I think 3 more boards so there is a possibility we will get more

The intro music of mario party superstars is the one of mario party 3! That is quite a nice easter egg
When your played a board the intro change the musci like Mario Party 1 2 or 3 depend to the board

I hate how Toadstool Titan is now Mush Pit because that new name would confuse me to think about a certain minigame from Mario party 8.

They sure did make those old boards pretty looking...My only gripe is that they don't give you the option of having 50 turns like in the N64 era.I'm guessing they reduced the turns because parents are worried about their kids not getting any exercise nowadays...Also possibly because parents are pretty busy nowadays,a lot of families no longer have time to play together for a entire afternoon or evening🤔.
So, are there only two bonus stars presented in game when they are set to “random” bonus stars, or can there be three?
I think its 3 random for a 30 turn. 2 for anything less. Then 3 classic bonus stars regardless of turns. Then no bonus stars

Everytime I gain an item a mini game starts better start focusing for choosing an item if I get a Bowser jr. I don't get an item

all minigames from Mario Party 3
The “new turn” sound effect is really annoying and I wish (this is picky) the items were normal items like in Mario Party 1 to 4. I disliked the concept of Capsules (MP 5, 6), Orbs (MP7) and Candies (MP8).
Everything else looks amazing. The models, interface and minimalistic graphics borrowed from SPM will make it hard for me to forget about the unpleasant experience of SPM but this is a great step forward to the return of the original MP concept that stopped in MP8.
Are you high? There are no orbs or capsules here it's all trad items from 1-4 💀
Also mps has improved graphics compared to smp look it up

Taunts have been replaced by Stickers, which not only play a sound bit but also show… well, a sticker, with text.
So they're here, just not with funny voice lines like -" Hey, stinky! "- , but more like MP2 and MP3's taunts.
