Hey bro I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I planned the same thing with my friend and it turns out cotw is not crossplay at all only pc players can play with pc and Xbox can play with Xbox there is no cross playing
The inline will drop a moose with a single lung shot quite quickly and heart shots are also always an instant kill.

Thank you for video. Im new to the game. Yesterday I was doing family picture mission where you need to picture 2 different black bears. 2nd Bear I found i did take A picture of him. Completed A mission and decided to shoot him. It was my first diamond. Im proud of myself. I think it’s cooler to get diamond black Bear than deers. I personally think they're making each new map with a lot of water to make it more difficult and to spread out the animals more so you can't spam certain lakes. The 3 newest maps (Mississippi, revontuli, New England) all have a river running through it or a ton of lakes. I do my black bear grind on srp because there is no river system, just lakes. I started my moose grind on Yukon but moved to medved because there is less water to cover and medved only has that one river stretch in the southern part of the map.

Idk if anyone can help but I play on old gen and recently my game has started kicking me out on the second loading screen right before I get to the home page it freezes and then kicks me to my Xbox home page and it’s not doing it on any other game and this game doesn’t have any updates for me and I’ve tried every video on CZcams and can’t figure it out should I delete the game and reinstall it or is there anything else I can try

I have a question. My friend shot a great one with his bow but it wasn’t a vital shot. He tracked it and died but didn’t collect it. Will it respond back as a great one?

Need some help please! Doing a Roosevelt grind on Layton with herd management and having zones with say 5 males disappear after awhile with no respawns at all, anyone else seeing this?
No lie. I just started playing, and Layton lakes was a frustrating start for me. Animals always spooked before I even get to see them because of all the bushes, hills and trees even walking around. I'm having a much better time in Te Awaroa

The reload animations for this game are hilarious. There is no reason to open the bolt to swap a mag. Yet another hunting game that falls short simply because the devs don’t hunt or shoot, and know nothing about what they are doing.
Opening the bolt ensures your weapon is safe and that you don't have a round in the chamber. I have a Winchester featherweight that you have to open the bolt to load. Arguably it's not unrealistic
@@jameslee755 What model is it? Winchester made a lot of different models. I have over 60 Winchester bolt actions and NONE of them require you to open the bolt to drop a mag. Not a single firearm in my entire collection requires that. So, I’m calling BS on you. Plus, why would you want to kick a live shell into the grass? It’s stupid. You just drop the mag and replace it without taking the gun out of commission. That’s the whole reason the detachable box mag was created, being able to put a full mag into the gun without losing the ability to fire the one in the chamber if needed.
Revolvers also have an idiotic reload animation. For some weird reason, they eject every round when you are just putting one or two back in it. Again, not something that any actually shooter does. Maybe a newbie who has no experience and isn’t smart enough to get some training. You want to keep a live round in the chamber. That’s the whole point. I guess you, just like the devs, have never actually handled a gun in real life, have you?
I mean, does it really matter how realistic the reload animations of all thing are? It's just a fun game. Don't think about it too hard.

@@letsdostuff8967 I don’t agree. Maybe since you know nothing about hunting, it doesn’t bother you. But it is one of those things that ruins the immersion. Also, the whole hunting everything that moves is pretty stupid. Everyone that hunts knows there are seasons and bag limits for the different species. This game is based on what non hunters think we do. In reality, most hunters are very selective and take the animals that are needed the least to have a healthy herd. The game really isn’t that fun, it’s more of an extinction game than a hunting game. As someone who has hunted moose, it’s hard to get more than one tag. That means only one moose a year. Not dozens.

Yea, spent 40 hours here after a year break. Nothing has changed.. Hunting need zones animals show up 10 percent of the time.
