In this video I take on my favorite sites, the T5 Firestorms in a Gila. In my opinion these are the best sites to run ISK-wise because of the cheap cost of the filament and the price of the stuff you get out of firestorms (Armor mutaplasmids/Zero Point Condensate). Here's the fit:

You think that's insane. I have a Markee Dragon Occator fit that had pre nerf120Kehp/429Kehp it is now 61Kehp/129Kehp

2:47 Repairing drones in bay with nanite repair paste would be great. Drones are guns after all.

One thing that can happen in FS is be given 2 or even three rooms with 3 lucid deepwatchers one after the other. Those take crap load of time to kill and I have escaped a few times with literally just a couple of seconds left.
one thing i thing id like when running abyssals solo, that if you disconect it some how pauses it till you can log back in, to exactly the point you disconected. of course i know this wouldn't be able to be done with multiple people in same instance but i wonder if it would be possible solo with abyssals.

On 26 Nov 2019 (13 days after posting this vid) you can view this fit on killboard. It seems it died to neuts. Very manly killboard sir.

Hi Torvald! I was thinking of taking this fit into T4s. With exception of Dark would you recommend I change anything based on the filament type? I’m looking for a safe run in each with an easy refit to run the variations. I am looking for a way to Omni run these and only refit specific modules as needed. Sort of like running missions and fitting for the encounter damage type on the fly.

Definitely! So you’ll want to use drones based on the site you’re running (Amarr/EM; Electrical, Caldari/Kinetic; Exotic, Minmatar/Explosive; Gamma, Gallente/Thermal; Firestorm). On top of that, only use T2 drones on big stuff, such as battleships, because they do more damage. Navy versions have better tracking and tank for small stuff.
I'm thinking of doing t4 firestorms, but I may want to unbling it a little bit. Maybe going t2 adaptive and t2 drone dmg. Will it still be viable? Not using any implant either atm, but maybe i should get the midgrades before trying.. :)
I’m not going to lie - I have no clue! It’s been so long since I’ve done T4s that I forgot what the spawns look like. Did you end up trying it? My new focus for video content is T4 stuff, so I’ll try it out! :)
@@TorvaldUruz Just did one site at SISI and it seemed to work. Almost killed by the big droneboat (overmind something?), but that was due to me having done something that made my afterburner turn off after one cycle...went well after that :p
@@TorvaldUruz Tried a lot of rooms now on sisi and it seems to be ok. But kinda tempted to just use your fit..then it will be ready for like t5 when I dare to go into them :p
What can i do with the Semiosis Conduction and Triglavian Trinary Stuff i get in shipyard Site ???????
Sadly they’re basically useless! During the World Invasion Fanfest stuff you’d get secret messages from the Triglavians if you had that item, but for now they’re not used for anything
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but can I drop all the faction modules for T2 modules to run T1-T3 abyssals while I train up skills and gain experience in doing abyssals before going into T4-T5? I know that the ROI wont be great but i just want to learn in the ship I plan on flying.
I’m going to be honest, I’m not 100% sure! I’d have to look at the numbers in game and make sure it fits and what not. I do know for sure that you’d be fine in T2. You’ll most likely be good in T3 but what you should do if you want to go this route is test the waters in T2 and see how it does with 1. Time 2. Tank and 3. Capacitor! If you have no issues with any of those three things you should be good to run T3s :)

If I put this fit in Pyfa. I only get 25.3Kehp and recharge total of 494.4ehp/s. Is this correct? It just seems low to me.
There’s been an update since this video that has reduced the resistance % of all resist modules, so that’s probably what you’re seeing
@@TorvaldUruz - I have run a couple of T3 Firestorms with this fitand will keep running this level until I come across some neuting. I lost a 800m Gila last night in a firestorm to heavy neuting but I believe your fit stands up better to neuts due to batteries?I have never really run a battery fit before as I have always gone for higher passive ehp. I'm guessing that that's probably not the most intelligent way to play sites that neut heavily.
14:20 wouldnt you want to focuse on the small stuff first? I calculated and usually the cruisers combined do about the same dps as karybdis. So Id see it being better for your tank if you reduce dps fast by killing the cruisers that dont rely as much on shields as karybdis?
I never realized they did enough damage to really matter, I guess I’ve always been focused on the big hits from Karen! It’d definitely be a good idea to burn a couple of them down quickly
How impactful is the sig debuff on passive Gila vs the active Gila? do you it makes the drifter bs hit you significantly harder? are there any pros for the passive Gila?
Tyrannos are bastards, the amount of times I've kept my transversal up, at speed, 40km away and STILL got wrecked half into armour in a single shot is insane.
Kapitän Abdillah Papadopolous right?! It’s crazy how much damage they can do when they get a lucky shot off! Most of the times I can stand a lucky shot or two but they’re rough!
@@TorvaldUruz Found a bit of a tip with them last night, they'll only manage to get those wrecking shots off when youre orbiting ~30-50km off. Once you get under that they miss pretty much every time. If you can get to 10km and orbit them you're laughing. Gotta get right up in their grill.
@@kapitanabdillahpapadopolou4119 yeah, only problem is they love to hug the back wall of the room, so you risk orbiting right out of bounds if you're not piloting manually. those tricksy bastards.
i lost mine to 4 starvings and the rest were blinding. i started killing starvings untill i could target anything
and had to get closer to target and got neuted and died
Yeah the starvings are tough.. What was it, Leshaks or Vedmak/Damavik?
are you allways just go for the one crate at the gate ? there is so much more loot ^^
Typically yeah, you can use methods to grab the extraction nodes but I typically don’t bother with them. In T5s if you can grab the extra nodes without adding extra time, definitely do it!
Would armor Sacrilege be better for T5 Fire storm?
The Sacrilege is one I imagine could do any weather, but I’ve only ever used it for dark sites!
so what would you do when you run into a combination of the renewing and starving leshak?
Silentsidewinder if you’re flying the Gila, send drones to the renewing Leshak ASAP while simultaneously flying away!

How does this build handle after the update to shields?
I’m in the process of testing it now! So far I’ve been running exotics and it’s been pretty smooth, with some slight overheating and using blue pill/hard shell more often. I’ll have a video up of it soon! :)
Hey Torvald, thx for your vids. Pretty cool stuff. I need your help. I had a t5 firestorm in gila with your fittings. Spawn was 6 striking leshaks, 5 starving leshaks and 3 renewing leshaks . i could not break tank of the renewings . Killed only 4 starvings . Ifighted 20 min but at least i could not break the tank of any leshak. So what to do when i meet them again?Was switching targets and went out of range of striking. but my drones didnt make enough dmg.
This was the shipyard room spawn right? One big room with an Origin gate and the structure building ships? You can take the origin gate without fighting, it’s open! One thing you could try if you’re not breaking the reps is to focus on the leshak(s) that’s farthest away from the renewings, if they’re spread out.
@@TorvaldUruz Yeah thats right, was shipyard . 3 Renewings, 6 Starvings and 6 Striking Leshaks. . Did not know that the origin Gate is open. That sucks a bit :D Sadly Only the starvings break formation to kill me. I killed at least 5 of them. Then i did not had a chance to break the others Tank.

what implants and/or drugs do you use?
Full mid-grades, along with a few slot 7-10 implants, you can see them all at the beginning of the video when i'm showing the fit
when i try your fit in game it says that the power grid is -52 and i'm not cap stable are there some boosts/skills that i can take/train ?
i resolved the power grid but still not cap stable
Do you have the magic 14 skills maxed out? Also, the slots 7-10 implants in?

Yeah that’s good! This upcoming patch is hitting resistances so we’ll have to see what that does to all of these Gila fits

Sadly T5s as an alpha would be extremely hard, I’d say impossible but who knows maybe it can be done! As an alpha the highest you can comfortably go is T3. Though T4s are possible with enough ISK/skill!

Do you need drugs for t4's ?
Nope! It’s always a good idea to bring exile (armor) or blue pill (shield) as well as some Pyrolancia to be safe, but you don’t really need it
gila gets ganked too easy. dont do abyssals with your name out there. unless u fly assault dc fit ship
Your fit is 2.6B and you casually say here is the fit......smh, not worth watching just a waste of time.
It’s not for everyone :P I did farming today and in 4 hours I managed to take in 1.4b without getting any of the expensive spec books! There’s definitely lower-tier cheaper options though

@@johngraboski Doing these T5 sites can get that much. It's sort of variable, but there's a lot of big ticket items you can get (mutaplasmids, specialization skillbooks). The commonly quoted rate for average isk/hr for T5s is 275m, 350m/hr is well within a reasonable range.
That rate will probably go up for very bling fits with the new updates (and likely down or stay even for non-bling fits), since hardeners are being nerfed.
@@Magitrek Many thanks for responding :) I've run about 15 t3 sites and not happy with the 6-9m per run so I've got the Gila suggested here but am pretty nervous because it's such an expensive ship. @@johngraboski Any time :). There's a huge jump up in profitability from T3 to T4, and again from T4 to T5. I believe the isk/hr from 3 to 4 is like 3x, and 4 to 5 is like 1.5-1.75x.
You can run a relatively cheap gila and still make some good cash as long as you know what you're doing. A T2-fit gila (see the one in the second link) can run the easier T4s (i.e. not firestorm/dark) without much of an issue.
