His girlfriend left him before racoon city, the friends he was going to make at the RPD all died as he arrived and some in front of him. In resident evil 4 he was alone until he had ashley but rejects her. Clare basically argued and ditched him at the end of re 2.
The only one he knows is Ada who always pushes him away it's quite sad.
I need to watch the gameplay of resident evil 2 remake my memory can only hold so much and there's a lot going on in this universe as is 💀 but I thought that Claire and Leon just went their separate ways because they saw no use in sticking together cuz Claire was still looking for her brother and then Leon after the incident was taken in by the government

Claire goes to find Chris leaving Sheery with Leon despite both needing medical attention it's in the epilogue of re3. Re2 and 3 remakes don't cover it. Some say the thing doesn't translate well but Capcom says otherwise either way, Leon gets annoyed and basically tells her to go and take a hike at that point he had already been abandoned or lost everyone he loved so his reaction was understandable it's what prompted me to write this comment initially.

@@noxiouschocolate9644Me too, my first RE game was RE2. But it was the original 32 bit PSX RE2. The only RE game I beat without using any strategy guide at all.
When I got the original PSX RE3, I just used the strategy guide to “cheat” my way thru the entire game. It took away the shock value, and somewhat ruined the game for me. After that, I always tried to play thru RE games without the guide as much as possible before using the guide to “look up the answer”. That way the shock value is there.

His worst first day of the job wasn’t a coincident. It’s true he asked to be assigned there, but he did it specifically because of the high disappearance and crime rates that had spiked up there. Equivalent to a new cop asking to be assigned to Portland in 2021. It’s insane.

The book for resident evil 2 is RE: City of the dead, Sd perry did a very good job at doing both Leon's and Clare's perspectives.
