The gimmick doesn’t get old. Not even people watching the show can see it move. The sad thing is this didn’t show the Statue of Liberty. That was one of the most weird plot twists.

Or that one time at the beginning of Angels take manhattan where the first detective guy couldn’t see the Angel that was clearly in front of him at the end of the hallway. And several other times in angels take manhattan, like there was a girl that was seen inside the building that the detective guy saw from the outside(who was actually likely an Angel herself because she did the classic weeping pose, and the reason the Angel made him see a girl was so that it could move while being seen)

Meaning these homicidal nurses dont move unless you do. And they will continue to move until all movement halts. But once they sense something move, they can move as well. Theyre rather slow. Easy to avoid. That is if theres only one or two of them. They like to group together into squads of five or more. The worst possible scenario is encounter them in a closed space. But ironically thats the best way to beat them. Lure them into a room, get out without getting killed. And lock them in.

For me, the scariest creatures in the Dr. Who universe would always be the Weeping Angels and the Silence. There's also that one thing where people with gas masks appear looking for thei "mommy" but apparently those people were affected by a species that were actually trying to help by regenerating beings but mistook the masks as part of the human natural biological makeup and that the "mommy" thing as another normal human behavior. They started out scary but were actually quite wholesome species just trying to help.

There’s really no plot twists happening, it’s just the angels using perception filters to make the people see things that aren’t really there.
