There are 30 vacant bedrooms in the United States for every 1 homeless person. Squatting landlords, rent seekers, greedy people, and families that neglect their own are the leading contributors to homelessness.
Ha. I have a family member and we let her stay in a bed in one of our bedrooms. She kept pooping all over the house. Like diarrhea, she would blast it all over the toilet seat, wall, base of toilet, and floor, then proceed to step in it and walk it all over the floors, and somehow get it on her clothes and smear it on the chairs and couches and all over her bed. One would think someone willing to live that way might have mental issues and need help? One would be right. But you can’t force people to treat their medical conditions. You can’t force people to take their pills and see their dr. They have to want to change. So guess what, this family member doesn’t live with us anymore.
Guess I'll NEVER visit this 7/11 in Portland. The high pitched sound would trigger a Horrendous MIGRAINE for me and I would end up in the hospital. I had a migraine that took 3 shots (usually takes 1, each cost $120.00) to stop it along with ice packs, chiropractor adjustment, darkened room with sound proofing to prevent noise. I almost died.
