as for UpTilt to FT, moves that have a faster startup than 12 frames like Terry's Input Power Dunk and Sephiroth's Scintilla can easily just whiff it.

He's such a sick character, underplayed too since Cloud's rep never really recovered after the nerf from 4 to Ultimate

a faster finishing touch is nice if it results in more reliable confirms like the jabreset in this vid but mostly it seems like it's gonna be as inconsistent as always

He needed limit to last longer and his vertical non limit recovery/horizontal drift to be better. Oh well
The problem with buffing bair is that it will be too OP. It such a crazy neutral tool and not necessarily a killing option. If you buffed its killing power, i think youd only see bairs and make him more boring. Now you can mix it up with finishing touch!
Having different kill options is what cloud needs. Bait was already good, finishing touch didn't see any use so it's nice to be able to mix it up.

Landing Uair is such an unlikely option when you consider how hard it is to hit with compared to Smash 4.
Better Nair, more power on Bair and Limit Side B would have been godlike. Oh well, can't have everything, guess we'll settle with more kill confirms via FT 🤷

The only things is the falling up air is not true on everyone, if your a short char it just won't hit, but otherwise cool stuff.

How consistent is the kill comfirm uptilt to ft? I hear mix things and i haven't tested it myself
I’ve tried it out now in game a bit. The % window and spacing are tight for it to actually be true, and it pretty much requires them to have terrible DI to actually kill. So I’d say it still isn’t the most viable kill option unfort. If only they buffed the kill power along with the speed 😭

For the falling upair to bair, how did you turn around like that? It didn't seem like a rar bair, did you just lightly tap the control stick left to turn like that? I'm not the best so I just want to ask
I point the control stick in the opposite direction before I land to do a turn around land

How do you do the ft up air extension, I cant do the nair high enough to do the uair
You have to do a rising full hop Nair and buffer the up air extension. It has to be almost frame perfect. Also don’t do it with limit because his fall speed increases so it becomes infinitely harder to do it lol. Have your gauge partially filled so that you get full limit on the last up air

Guess its time to stop playing joker so often for me. Finishing touch buff makes FT no longer cloud's worst move and gives us much easier kill confirms and some new ones. Only time will tell if this buff helped.

I’ve tried it works against different characters depending on weight and percent
I’ve always used it in my own Cloud gameplay, so I’ve always felt it was viable, but now even more so
Seems cool and all, but of you're not playing against Ridley or Sephiroth or Mewtwo (big, light characters, you ain't landing a falling Up Air in Ultimate. So hard to hit, and when hit on shield, it's not safe.
