A planet needs to meet 3 criteria. 1. Orbit the sun 2. Be spherical 3. Have a clear orbit Pluto is small and is in the kuiper belt so there are many comets and asteroids that overlap with its orbit
@@doge_shorts1 Well, first of all, even if a planet like earth were out there, they couldn’t clear that stuff out much better, because of the sheer distance between everything. It’s not just Pluto’s fault. Also, many scientists disagree with this definition, including the guy who sent the New Horizons probe to flyby the small planet back in 2015. Now, I don’t agree with *his* proposed definition, since it includes most large moons, which definitely shouldn’t be considered planets, but still, just wanted to point out that this is not universally accepted, even within its relevant community.

Pluto has a baricentric orbit Thats to say it orbits outside of its own gravitational center Even though pluto is the biggest of the dwarf planets it is still only half the size of mercury
"Pluto is one of my favorite planets"
Thank you for calling it as such. I like Pluto too

Very interesting!
Thank for your helpful information.
This is really cool
