Alan - I love your channel and have learned a lot from you over the years. We will all miss the clips with Dad - especially with his cable restraints. God Bless you and all of your family with his passing. No doubt he was missed during the Holiday season. Question Alan - How do you get away with not using a pan cover or something under the pan? Of all of the umpteen sets I have watched you make, I never see a pan cover. How does the trap fire without that???

Appreciate the words. On the Pan cover. I sift most the dirt over the dog and then sweep 1st covering with hand over pan. Some dirt will fall under but not enough to keep trap from firing. Whether it looks like I am or not, I’m very aware of how much is going under the pan and will make adjustments when needed. Good luck. 🐾

I've had about 30-50 of them exact same sets 90% of what I use and I have not caught a k9 since the last Grey fox I caught 48 days ago. Not sure what's going on but my lines been blank for weeks just a couple raccoon if I move my sets around

@NorthAmericanTrapperTV I dunno if it's gonna help at this point but thanks I've tried multiple really good locations tons of different baits...I've had like 2 or 3 dirtholes dug out in the last month that's it so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong
