I have never understood why people don't give him the recognition he deserves. Most of these goals are absolutely outrageous. But he never gets talked about like Thierry Henry. Why? One of the most underrated strikers the Premier league has ever seen. A marvel.

Well I hate to say it, because I don't want to come off as trying to play victim, but one he's African, and two, he's a devout Muslim. A seemingly innocuous combination at first, but he doesn't fit the bill for the Ballon d'Or and other top honors, since he's not of European/South American descent. I generally avoid dragging race, and creed into debates, but its the unspoken truth.... his first name will certainly hold him back quite a bit as well. Oh well, at least he's holding out on his contract talks in an attempt to increase his wages, and luckily for LFC fans, he doesn't seem to pay too much attention to these dubious awards.

I've been a Liverpool fan ever since I attended my first match at Anfield in 1965. I've seen all the greats during that time, including the likes of Hunt, St John, Keegan, Rush, Dalglish, Gerrard, Fowler, Torres, Suarez, Coutinho, etc. In my view, Mo Salah is the greatest player that Liverpool have ever had, bar none. And now the FSG idiots who run the club are risking losing him so they can use the profits from his sale to line their shareholders' pockets. I think if Mo leaves, Jurgen won't be far behind, and to be honest, I'd be devastated but wouldn't blame him.
