This is my new favorite interview of Steve Vai. In the over the top rock n roll lifestyle background, Steve Vai, in my opinion, is one of the most humble, sincere, and thankful person I have ever seen. Inspirational.
This is the one of the best interviews of Steve Vai I have ever seen. The things he says, the interaction between the two of you and the fact that he seems to forget there's a camera and goes all out in what he says, all are pure gems. It's a real pity this interview has been unavailable for so long. I understand this is now an old topic and I don't know if you can reupload it , but I truly hope we get to watch this again.
Please for the love of god, FIX this or re upload it or SOMETHING. It's one of the greatest interviews I've ever seen and it NEEDS to be back where we can all see it again! I went to share it with a friend just now and saw this...Ugh. It's been 2 years, can we please get this fixed?
The longest interview i've ever watched in my life but fundamentally enjoyed every second of it. Especially loved being able to see them as a person and not necessarily as their "lables" of soicety. Thanks Steve and Steve
Absolutely the most genuine person out of all my guitar heros that I have ever met. Thanks for the EVO experience. Awesome show in Birmingham on 11/13. I will never forget the conversations we had and also how fucking long your fingers are.
Steve is so funny, he thinks he's not like Ed, or Page, or the other greats! The thing is, he's a step above, he's a solo guitarist who is the most technical and melodic, most dedicated, and has an unbelievable ear for proficiency and excellence. That's the new way to play and perform with the electric guitar. Every note, every rest, every transition between, all the way down to the blending of tones, every aspect perfect. It takes a critical ear to appreciate his perfection, the beauty is in the depth and careful execution of his music. Thanks Steve for not short cutting anything!
Really youtube ? You have went ahead and muted one of the greatest interviews with steve vai because it contained a copyrighted track ? The topics that were disussed in this video were amazing, plus steve forgets the camera was even rolling and him and the interviewer just chat about life and music. Steve had some fantastic things to say about mind set when approuchng the guitar. My last guitar lesson i had a few days ago we spoke about said topic and i reallly wanted to show this to my music teacher, sady now i cant. PLEASE FIX THIS GUYS. REUPLOAD IT PLEASE.WITHOUT THE AUDIO THAT CZcams HAS MUTED.
Diamond Dave, Steve Vai,Billy Sheehan,Greg B.,Bill Tuggle,.Man there isn't an arena anywhere that wouldn't sell out.....Quickly.They could call it EAT ME 2.

"I knew drugs were bad, because they were so good." that's a great quote. Great interview all the way through, Steve is awesome.

Absolutely the most amazing interview of Vai I'd ever seen. Especially the last 30 min or so when he just shares wisdom. Awesome guy.
Wow, amazing interview! Steve shares so much and his incites are really applicable to so many. I enjoy his interviews just as much as his playing.
How much longer??!!! This is a highly awaited interview!
I assume we will never get this video back. Thanks a lot ...
Thanks man. Steve is one of my heroes and applause to him for being honest and offering a candid look into his lifestyle.

Arguably the most intelligent musician on the planet.
Very nice interview! Its great to see an artist talk about his inner feelings towards something versus talking about the technical side.
Great interview! Such an inspiring man and musician.
