Thanks to your review I bought this exact same jeep but with a hemi and and an all black interior! This is my sixth jeep I've owned, my last grand Cherokee was an 05 so time for a new one, walked in to the dealer and two hour later drove out with a new jeep and payed it off the next month. Kids love the blu-Ray players and sound better than the theatres! Say my 12 year old son! And I love the air lift.and every thing about it! Thank again for sparking my interest in a new jeep! Great review. Another satisfied jeep owner.
Thanks for an honest review. Very informative. 👍
Nice review, looked at everything at the Chicago Auto Show a couple weeks ago, never had a Jeep, never considered one, but.... As you said a hundred times, we said ourselves, "extremely nice" especially at that price. We bought a 2017 Overland, basically same car, minus a couple small features. Absolutely love it and everyone whom was sat in it has been quite impressed. Is lacking none of the features the BMW, Porsche, Cadillac have and gains soooo much more.
They are very nice. My wife just traded her 2014 chevy equinox for a White Summit just like this one. She got it certified used 2015 with 34000 miles for only $29,900. Thats a heck of a deal we got on it.
3 Years later is it still a heck of a deal? I'm looking at a 2015 Summit right now with only 60,000 KM's on it 5.7 liter Hemi for $36000 Canadian.
@@truckn yes it is still in tip top shape and running amazingly. Routine service goes a long way.
outstanding review
Beautiful- great review
screw all you hater critics! i say good job on the review. i have this Jeep in black leather interior and without the dvd player and i love it! it cost me 47,000. like anything else... you get what you pay for. think I'll upgrade to a track hawk in 2020.
this car is beautiful and the video is very informative :)
i just purchased one myself. i am EXTREMELY happy with it.
Brian Emery are you still happy with your purchase after one year and has it been cheap to own?
How's the transfer Case and it transmission Any issues or did you dump this vehicle?
nice review! I just purchased the overland model for my wife and she loves it. she chose the graphite color with tan interior.
Bro love the hair can watch you drive for hours
Gorgeous interior and exterior, last a long time highly reliable V6 or V8!
Can you make a video showing how remove and install of trailer hitch cover
I have the same model of your car but the problem is that I can’t find Uconnect app in the radio screen the last section in my radio screen is the phone section. Can anyone help me how to enable the Uconnect apps.
Wish I had this or either the SRT I have a 2012 Laredo V6 version it's nice, but no bells and whistles like the limited, summit, overland, and SRT.
have you had an problems with it (mechanical etc)
to sum up this video "extremely nice"
I want to get this same exact Jeep with v6 and in white
I prefer my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Trail Rated, with not only the Quadra-Lift, but also Quadra-Drive and Quadra-Trac. But the best part is the diesel engine which is VERY pleasant to live with, gets great mileage and grunts out 420 ft lbs of torque . . . meaning its tow rating is as much as the Hemi.
Nice SUV however I would go for the Overland, less $$ and still packed with tons of features.. good color combo ..
The Overland is a good choice but it's hard to find them with the Harmen Karden speakers
The horsepower rating for a 2015 Grand Cherokee with the 3.6 liter V6 is actually 290 hp, not 250 hp like you had said.
nice review..Thx
Lol boxes and toasters I really would like to get one of these in the near future
What’s the difference between the 2018 model and this…? I have seen the 2015 summits selling rather cheap low mileage..
By the way, if you want to stop lights flashing on the camera, just change your FPS (frames per second) rate. If you're running at a different frame rate, that should cure it for you.
Apart from the exterior differences, Harman Kardon audio and possibly higher grade leather what other differences are there between the Overland and the Summit?
+TheJoeMB The entire headliner in the car is a suede material which looks really nice, the seats have special badges but I believe the seats themselves are the same, Satin chrome touches are more frequent, I believe the front fascia is slightly different, and there's several other small things I can't quite remember. It all adds up to making this package seem much more luxurious and "expensive" feeling as compared to the other trim levels.
+TheJoeMB A simple trip to Jeep . com would surely give you every single thing that is different, NO?
TheJoeMB exactly, I would stick to the Overland if I could, still packed with tons of features and less money, I would not go with the Limited but the Overland ? any day .. white with black with the 5 spoke alloy rims ..
Just avoid like the plague the 2014 onwards Diesel engine, the have a design flaw that causes the crank bearings to spin even if you service it to schedule with the correct Fiat spec oil, my 2019 GC Summit just threw its bearings after just 55000 miles and it’s been service to more than schedule.
It’s crazy how the summit doesn’t have ventilated seats just heated ¿?
Back windshield wiper is not auto sensing.
I really love these but the SRT8 versions are something else, I like everything about them from the red brembo brakes, the exhaust note and the power
Shrude exactly and thats why the Range rover is better but its not really a reliable car
The Range Rover is better than the SRT for 4wd ability, but not the other Cherokee models, especially the Summit which has more options as standard than the RR which is twice the price.
Shrude I wonder which SUV would be faster the Range rover RR or the SRT8 cherokee
At a guess I would think the SRT Cherokee. There isn't a lot on the road that can outrun it.
0-60mph in 5 sec, remember that's more than 2 tonne vehicle.
picked up a 2011 jeep damn this one here is noiiiiice!!!!!!!
This guy is nice
Good informative presentation but I was getting sick by following you quickly waving the camera back in forth at the different features. Maybe hold the camera in one spot for a few seconds would help. Thanks
I'd prefer the Overland because of the bright interior
+celilexus you can get that same interior in the Summit as well, it's just a different option.
oh really? That's good! I've thought the Summit is only available with either a blue or brown interior.
Is it a good alternative to my Range Rover Sport as a daily driver? How's the reliability?
Its gonna feel cheaper than a Range Rover but its a gonna have better reliably.
Did he use the word “nice” one too many times?!
Shoulda got the diesel!
@@bigbuck9951 diesel engines are ten times more reliable! Also give wayyy better mpg
Looks like a 2016 to me.
should be around 37,000
No comment on the 8 Speed?
+Amirnake It's so incredibly smooth, it was to the point where I wouldn't even notice it shifting so I simply forgot to bring it up in the drive portion. Seriously it was THAT good.
+RP Productions But I still can't get past the fact that one is paying almost 60K to drive a car with under 300 HP and Torque. I just don't get people who opt for the smaller engine on anything.
Yeah the numbers on paper aren't great but I was very surprised once I actually drove it. Of course you can always opt for the 5.7 or the 6.4 in the SRT if you want more power. I suppose most consumers would rather take the better mpg in the v6, but that's why they make multiple engine options. Hard to please everyone but it's nice they give you the choice.
+RP Productions I drove the V6 many times. It's 290 hp and moves the vehicle just fine. Also gets much better gas mileage than the hemi.
Binaural Tunes I don't know they definitely seem to be popular these days. But why not have a Hemi if you can? I think the difference in gas mileage is not worth robbing yourself of the pleasure of having a V8 beast for many years....you drive a car for some 5 years...5 yes of wishing you had bought the v8...i can't do that..
Try not to overuse the word “nice”
56k for no v8 and they can't even add led everything on it!?! It's the little things that count for people dropping over 50k on a vehicle. Not saying it's a bad vehicle but stop being so stingy.
+John Hunt For us enthusiast we'd obviously prefer the v8 but they sale many more of the v6's because the general consumer cares more about fuel economy. You're able to option the v8 in if you want to go that route and have more power.
13.7 avg MPG...that's where I stopped watching
They are nice but so defective the shifter is very problematic I wouldn’t recommend to buy a Jeep I’m switching To Chevy again I guess
I've had a 2003 Grand Cherokee Limited, single owner for 17 years. Love it
