HOW TO CLEAN THE DUCTED HEATING FILTER! We moved into a 2 year old house and it's DISGUSTING what we found in the ducted heater filter.
When we use to live in a rental they would send an electrician and plumber for an annual rental house review. All they did was take the filter outside and vacuum it!!! So that's what Dave did to clean the ducted heating filter.

OMG just discovered that for 14 years since being built ours had NO filter material behind the large vent holes so LOADS of dust is inside that wall cavity and presumably gets repeated sucked into there then blown from the ceiling down into our bedrooms

same here after 12 years I just found out the same. Maybe that's why just yesterday the unit was sending a strong smell, I don't think it was gas , possibly like something is overheating
