I never knew they were so intelligent. That's some crafty thinking with the shell.
This was pretty smart BUT you need to see the pufferfish one, that is super impressive a math genius fish (I'm jealous)
Marilyn Alvarez o my word.... yes ..... the puffer fish making that perfectly round pattern is just wonderful!

There is one….it’s called Finding Nemo

that final shot where we see the eggs with eyes is wild
It's incredibly fascinating if you really think about it. I mean.. can they all see? If so, who is seeing? Each one it's own little self perpetuating consciousness. Amazing 🧠💥

Too true! 💜
Honestly, how anyone can capture this kind of footage baffles me.
I was just thinking about it when I went to the forest a few days ago (different environment but the idea is the same). Life is everywhere but capturing it so beautifully like this is SO difficult
The whole scene is a set up, no surprise here
@@erictingh8533 They're all paid actors
Lol if you watch how they make the scenes for blue planet some footage takes years to get a hold of, imagine this
lots of expensive gear and patience
As an old man, I watched this with the wide-eyed fascination of a child. Absolutely wonderful!
Vin diesel: Nothing is impossible if you have FAMILY.
awesome eyes huh
Exactly man 🙌
That's right
I love these so much, literally one of my favorite internet memes/trends this year 😆
Ya’ll this 🤣
I briefly entertained the thought of BBC hiring a clownfish as a camerafish.
I found this little family astonishing , it's such a privilege to be able to see these creatures thriving.
Not only is the behavior of these fish incredible, but being able to hear their clicking noises and vocalizations with this footage is very special to me. I never knew the range of sounds fish are capable of making.
It seems like they are very intelligent, just look at the spermwhales, biggest brains of any and also have the same kind of 'talking' it seems
The only sad part of this footage is the perennial plastic water bottle that made its way to an ocean.
Everything else about this peek into these fish is just superb and utterly inspiring.
If more ppl watched this more would care for our planet
true
Not my problem
A stupid comment...
@@onazram1 must be a 9 year old lol
What are you people actually doing to combat climate change. Or do you just leave comments like this for internet points?
I'm glad the plastic bottle didn't work otherwise I'd start littering.
I had the same idea 😂
😝😝😂
It wont have work anyways Cuz if the bebes hatch in there they will die
The oceans have hundreds of billion of tons of plastic in them already and we still see fish speices who experience population losses of 90% +. Not population growth
Dont worry, i think theres enough trash in the ocean already lmao
These videos are such an inspiration for anyone who likes to photograph wildlife. How amazing is the work done here ❤
Yes, I thought it real interesting how the male vs female differed in coloring on their 'noses'.
The photographer really got some great closeups! Think that's the first time I ever saw a fish laying eggs!

Love the way they figured out that spinning the coconut forward was more efficient than flipping it!👌😉
How they manage to get this footage is amazing you could probably wait 100 years and never see something like this again.
I worked for Vox ( it’s a german Channel )
They bring the plastic bottle or the coconut there

@@blackricksanchez457 I agree. Lots of shots are fake and setup. I saw a video about an insect attacking a geeko to show how it hunts in the wild and in reality the geeko was tapped to a tree so it cant escape. Most of these animal documentaries are fake.

I just find it insane that fish can make vocalizations. Like, they were TALKING to each other.
Exactly and someone wanted to say the sounds are added when you can clearly see the fishes mouth move and hear the sound come out
Not everyone will believe they can make sound though I guess 🤷
I don't know who made the more impressive work here, whether was it the clown fish or the BBC crew filming it.

I still find it so surreal to see sea anemones lying in a barren middle-of-nowhere and not in a vibrant coral reef
Climate change :( I was also a little saddened to see how dead it looks around I hope those fish survive
Climate change but mostly fishing has destroyed the oceans. It's sad but we must all try do our bit in protecting the oceans. Pick up plastic from the beaches and stop eating fish.
@@Hadespluto3ffect rofl no. sea anemones ... can move.
@@twsartadventures3660 that doesn’t change the fact that the ocean is dying??? It’s literally heating up, too warm can literally make coral extinct, how are you watching a animal doc, but don’t understand climate change and overfishing 🤦🏾♀️ people like you are the reason it’s dying it’s not rocket science
@@cmichaels9544 that’s literally going to do absolutely NOTHING, we are NOT what’s causing these fish and plants to die it’s big company that pollute and overfish, not even a village of 100 would make a dent on the fish and plant population but you know what does? Oil spills. Like the two we JUST had, I’m pretty sure oil on fire in the ocean is much more impactful than sally and Ben fishing for 3 fish no bigger than 4 inches, but I do agree picking up your trash is still very important!!
This is why we need to protect the corals.
By stop supporting fishing.
Btw anemones aren't corals

Sad that the "new opportunity" is a old plastic bottle.
We gotta do better as humans...
we should maybe sink an old battleship for them
@@MooseMeus lol
Heavier plastic bottles!
That part also made me sad
Even clown fishes discarded plastic and preferred coconut shell ...
That's so sad. Companies who produce products in plastic packaging should be forced by law to take the packaging back and recycle it. So maybe it wouldn't end up in the ocean.
Yes they should be!
They should use only carton
What Sweden does is add extra money to the plastic bottles when buying them. You get the money back once you have recycled it! Meaning, even if you leave it outside, someone will recycle it for some money
It's not just the companies, but also the people who leave plastic waste everywhere.
@@XCLXHK we both know humanity became more sheep then ever. Lots of people are absolute dump and you need to guide them with law to follow or be afraid of. So better way is fix the main problem which is companies

The plastic bottles can't even help them to lay eggs. That was depressing.
They make sounds 😱 they talk to each other 😱
The male giving them little kisses is just adorable
Literally how does anyone get this footage. How don't they scare the clowns? How can they get the footage of the entire process? How did they know what would be happening and when? How did they get such great angles? How did they know to get this footage in the first place?
Genuinely bonkers.
In Netflix they have a special episode that covers how they video these events. They tell the time it took to wait for such things to happen, the equipment they use, the personnel etc. You should go check it out.

most of the sound is added in post
Most sound is added in post. Think about it, if you clap your hands underwater, how loud is it?
Otherwise, if you had an aquarium you'd hear your fish 'gurgling' all night.
