  • This video lecture explains about the process of plant tissue culture including the step-by-step procedure of micro propagation. This lecture also explains about the environment required for plant tissue culture. It also provides the idea of the growth hormones that are very important for the planned development. This video will make you understand the advantages and disadvantages of plant tissue culture technique. This video series includes the different types of plant tissue culture such as root tip culture and shoot tip culture and somatic embryogenesis.

Thank you for this wonderful lecture, Sir.
I have some questions for you:
Why is it difficult to regenerate whole plants from protoplasts?
Why does Agrobacterium prefer to infect dicots?
What's the good thing about using protoplasts for plant transformation if it's difficult to regenerate?
I'd be grateful if you could answer my questions :D

Is biology your main subject you studied and worked with for the plants? I work with wholesale nursery myself . I been studying plants for many years. I probably don’t have all the biological plant knowledge as much as you though. I am more specialist within the cuttings and seed area of plants. And yes , I know heaps about plants. I got a big white bourd too. But I am more for showing people the general aspects about plants other then going into deep biological detail about 🌱 plants.
    My questions...
How do you study this? Example..
Do you write information in your own journal?
    Do you always quiz yourself?
Do you research from actually experimenting on the plants?
Do you grow your own plants?
Nice video ! Your amazingly knowledgeable!
