thank you, exactly what I was looking for

I appreciate the video, you defintely understand Blender well. Perhaps on certain steps instead of just saying add this, do this, etc, you explain why you're doing what your doing. Because right now, people can copy, and get the end result, but they may not be able to apply on future projects.
    Nice video tho

I notice some tutorial like that actually he does not give the all details but he give the main keys to get the deepen understanding then need to deep dive in modifier... it is our job also i guess ;)

Poor results for this kind of situation. You have much better solution that are years and years old

Good to know this possibility. Where is it better to use? Would be interesting if you switch to render mode at the end, because we don't see the result correctly. But good tutorial, thanks dear.

You can better use it in motion graphic. You can also use it giving animating crack effect on land. I did not show render mode. Because, I have not enough ram (4Gb DDR2) and Graphic card (2gb).Render mode was very slow and it sometimes crashed.

Thank you. Do you happen to know how to include a procedural texture as a weight map? For example, it would be convenient to make roads in a procedural city using a brick texture.

    • @zuowa

And it seems that while I was writing this, it dawned on me that in the geometric nodes there is a brick texture and I need to connect it to the density))

can you recreate it with blender 3.5 ? there has something changed with geometry nodes, point distribute dosent exist anymore, just example - thanks

Use a "Named Attribute" node (type Float). Connect "Attribute" output to the "Selection" input of "Distribute Points on Face".
