      I use felt-tipped pens. It's certainly difficult to find a good pen :)

    Hey, not sure if you're still responding to comments but I'm really wondering what the point of linearization is. Go through the hassle of finding the linearization, only to plug it in and get an approximate value for Z? Why not just plug our point in the original function and get the precise value? Amazing video by the way!

    For example 1 aren't we supposed to add 3 instead of subtracting it?

      expand the brackets and you'll get -4-2(+3 when you take it to the other side) which is = -3
